TOUCHING: Aisha Buhari Visits Abuja Orphanage On Sallah
Aisha Buhari, the spouse of Nigeria’s president, used Sallah celebrations to spend some time with children deprived of parents’s love as she visited the orphanage an Abuja orphanage on Thursday, September 24.
According to Premium Times, the First Lady appealed to caregivers in orphanage homes urging them to be attentive at every stage of children’s upbringing to ensure good future for them.
President Buhari’s wife expressed optimist that with the help of the government the facilities of orphanages would meet the required standards.
Meanwhile the country leader yesterday spend the Eid-el-Kabir celebration in his home town Daura in Katsina state. Already in the evening of yesterday Nigeria’s number one politician left for New York, where he is set to meet with key world leaders and deliver a speech at the 70th Assembly of the United Nations.
