OLOROGUN O'TEGA EMERHOR : THE NAKED DANCE OF A POLITICAL DESPERADO.
By Vincent Oshiagwu.
It is incontrovertibly factual to assert that at certain age, a man should be able to count his teet with his tongue. One benefit accruable to the present day generation is that there is nothing new under the sun as anything with a name had been given a human attention in the past, at least in its naming. Laziness abound, but none with justification. Awards are never for the lazy or unserious dreamers but for the strongly desirious, determined, competent, credible, resillient and focused people. A man without credibility or acceptance in his own household should not expect it elsewhere. Such a man cannot be different from the biblical home destroyer who is destined to inherit the wind.
For this reason, the agonies of a man chasing shadows and negotiating with lies to upturn the truth can better be imagined. It baffles me that Olorogun O'tega Emerhor could shamelessly say he was rigged out in an election that was adjudged free, fair and credible. From pre-qualification to result authentication, Olorogun O'tega Emerhor seemed over-bloated.
On this premise, I cannot help but conclude that critics who have no positive creativity for appreciation are always proved wrong. Deltans cannot be easily marooned or lampooned into error by frivolities and deceits. The first campaign promise of Olorogun O'tega Emerhor of one billion naira empowerment bond was rebuffed by Deltans because not even a thing like that existed in his native home with him as a benefactor.
Going by this mirage and illusory, I beg Olorogun O'tega Emerhor to declare how many of his kinsmen and kinswomen he empowered in the last ten years. How many replaced him in the place of his last occupation as a retired man.
It is laughable that without wings, he's attempting to fly, without legs, he's attempting to run, without eyes, he's attempting to view the screen and being deaf and dumb, Olorogun O'tega Emerhor has grabbed the microphone to address the audience. What else is expected of a desperado in a naked dance publicly?
At home, abroard and elsewhere, His Excellency, senator (Dr) Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa was never and will never be a match for his political opponents. He remains superior. His opponents present quests remain a figment of their imaginations. The arrangement of Delta Central Senatorial District producing governor before Delta South and now Delta North is sacrosant.
Before now, it was never resisted nor disrupted by any person or group. It is a norm by acceptance. Spiritually or otherwise, the leadership that must bring prosperity to all Deltans has come to stay.
There is no tyrany of situations and circumstances, no mean animal, no loathsome object and anything contrary-wind that can terminate nor truncate the absolute resolve of His Excellency, senator Dr. Okowa to give quality leadership to Deltans.
I conclude by suggesting that Olorogun O'tega Emerhor and his cohorts that are dancing naked in the open should seek covering first before any other matter and the earlier they do that, the better. A stitch in time saves nine. Enough is enough.
