6 Reasons Sensitive Men Make The Best Partners

Women will always say they want a God fearing man and to have a relationship with a man who is strong and knows all they want and need.Dating a sensitive guy is a completely different experience than being with a rugged outdoor man. Here is a list of reasons why sensitive men make the best husbands.

1. They are good listeners: Every sensitive man listens more when his woman talks. He calms her down when she is angry and understands every of her facial expression.

2. Good in bed: Sensitive men take their time in bed with their wives to get her to the peak of her sensations. They need to be reassured that you are comfortable with them and like to spend the extra time. Sharing feelings in a relationship is never a problem—keeping your walls up is.

3. Security is everything: Sensitive men can be some of the most insecure men you may meet. At times, this can be an endearing quality. It means that they are more likely to spend time with you and listen to what you say. You need to let him know how you feel and ensure that he feels secure.

4.He is patient: Sensitive men may need a bit of time before they can really open up. Although they may be willing to express all of their feelings at once, there is also a chance that it will take them a while to come out of their shell. When they are out, you have them all to yourself.

5. Strong morals and principles: All signs that he’s sensitive, disregard inequity and injustice, and have a more open mind than you might think. He respects your rights as a woman.

6. Appreciative: Sensitive men remember your birthday, they want to please you in bed, and they care what you think and feel. Most of all they say; thank you, please and Love you.

Meet The Nigerian Who Scored 5.0 CPGA In Russia To Shatter World Record (Photo)

Young Dr Victor Olalusi shattered any existing record in Russia with his 5.0 CGPA score
A Nigerian student, Victor Olalusi, has reportedly scored 5.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) at the Russian National Research Medical University, Moscow, a world record.

This piece of information was made available by the federal ministry of education on Wednesday in Abuja, when it honoured the young doctor, who achieved the feat in 2013, arguably the first in the world.
PM News reports that Olalusi, who was the best graduating student in the whole of the Russian Federation in 2013, studied in RNRMU under the Russia-Nigeria Bilateral Education Agreement when he achieved the enviable feat.

Dr MacJohn Nwaobiala, permanent secretary in the ministry, said a lot of Nigerian students were brilliant but Olalusi was a genius and had become an ambassador not only to the ministry but to Nigeria and Russia.
He said: “We have to search the Guinness Book of Records for anybody who has achieved 5.0 in a university. It is curious and strange that all those that evaluated his performance could not find reason to reduce a point from him.
“You should be the ambassador of the Federal Scholarship Board, Ministry of Education, Nigeria and the Russian Federation.
“I look forward to the day you will stand before the President to receive your honour. We have recommendations to that effect.”

Olalusi was also urged to continue in his responsibility as a role model to young Nigerians and to explore opportunities in postgraduate research.
Mrs Ifeoma Agunwa, the director of the Federal Scholarship Board, while addressing the audience during the event, noted that Olalusi made 5.0 GPA in all the courses he took in the seven years he studied medicine in Russia.
“Olalusi never had a 4.99 GPA. Even in the Russian language class, he did not fall below 5.0,” she explained.

The representative of the Russian Embassy in Nigeria, Mr Artem Romanov, agreed also, that Olalusi’s feat was very significant for everybody in Russia and commended Nigerians for having much potential in Russia.
According to him: “Nigeria is blessed with abundant human potential which is officially acknowledged in Russia.

“It has been acknowledged in the Russian Ministry of Education that Nigerians have a lot of exceptional talents. Genetically, Nigerians grasp knowledge easily.
“Olalusi is a hardworking person. It is not easy to achieve such in Russia; it goes with talent and hard work.
“I urge you to engage your knowledge in the development of your father land.”
Only recently, two Nigerian teenagers, 13-year-old Osine and 15-year-old Anesi Ikhianosime, built a web browser named Crocodile Browser Lite.

US Gave Buhari List With Names Of Oil Thieves, And It Will Shock Nigerians – Source

A breaking report contains that President Muhammadu Buhari was given the specific names of oil thieves in the course of his recent visit to the US.

A member of Buhari’s entourage was said to have disclosed this information on Tuesday, July 28, to The Punch. The source added that when the Nigerian leader saw the list provided by the US, he could not believe his eyes.
“I can tell you that the President already has the list of names of the people engaging in the stealing of Nigeria’s oil. The list, when released by the president, will shock Nigerians. But let’s wait and see first.”

Another source from the presidency confirmed the information noting, however, that Buhari “has been keeping the list to himself”.

It was also obtained that there was one list with the names of high-rank Nigerian officials involved in corruption schemes and the other list with the names of illegal bunkerers. Apart from the government officials, the “oil list” allegedly contains the names of the retired and serving military chiefs.

Based on the report referring to the source disclosures, some ministers were stealing up to 250,000 barrels of Nigeria’s crude daily.

The person from Buhari’s team said Nigeria’s number 1 politician was already considering the idea of setting up a panel to try the guilty officials.
“The president will probe all of them and make sure they return whatever fortune they had made from their thievery.”

It should be recalled that Edo state Governor Adams Oshiomhole claimed that one of Goodluck Jonathan’s ministers had stolen $6billion. The information was reportedly provided by the American side in the course of Buhari’s visit. This caused serious argument among Nigerians. Many came down on Oshiomhole saying that he is one of those with itchy fingers. The others, outraged by the revelation, urged the acting government to immediately find and prosecute the minister accused of massive stealing.

In a recent development the All Progressives Congress disclosed the official position of the party regarding corrupt officials of the immediate past administration:

“Some people have insinuated that the Buhari administration should ignore the massive looting of our patrimony and move on. We say no responsible government can afford to do that, because it will amount to endorsing corruption and impunity.”

President Buhari on several occasions reiterated his commitment to fighting public funds embezzlement. This was also the case in the US where the Nigerian leader has recently met with his American counterpart Barack Obama.

The governor who stressed the need for Christians to give God their lives, added that God was worthy of our praise and worship.

No Country Can Tackle Terrorism Alone –Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that Nigeria and neighbouring countries must stand together to defeat and degrade Boko Haram terrorists in the sub-region.

Speaking late Wednesday at a state dinner at the Unity Palace in Yaounde, during his two-day working visit to Cameroon, President Buhari said countries in the sub-region cannot afford to falter in their resolve to get rid of the evils of terrorists.

“We recognise that none of us can succeed alone. In order to win this war we need the collective efforts of each one of us, standing together as a formidable force for good, to defeat and end these acts of terror against our people,” he said.

The President told guests at the dinner hosted by President Paul Biya that the security situation in the region presented an opportunity for Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Niger and Benin to work together for their common security, peace and socio-economic development.

“Let me assure all of my relentless pursuit of all possible means to safeguard Nigeria’s territorial integrity, protect the lives and property of our citizens as well as my commitment to continue to collaborate with Cameroon and our neighbours, within the framework of the Lake Chad Basin Commission.”

The President, who had earlier on his arrival on Wednesday held a closed-door session with his host, thanked President Biya for providing refuge to Nigerians who had fled their homes because of the insurgents.

He also commended Cameroon for its support to Nigerian military and security personnel in the fight against terrorism and offered his condolences to the families of the victims of terror in both countries.

President Buhari used the occasion of his speech to announce Nigeria’s willingness to expand economic partnerships with Cameroon, through increased joint ventures in infrastructure development, transport and commerce, among others.

He welcomed the achievements so far recorded by the Nigeria-Cameroon Joint Commission and all the landmark agreements signed between both countries.

The President, who described the relations between both countries as excellent, recognised the roles played by past and present leaders and Nigerian citizens in sustaining friendly relations with Cameroon.

In his remarks, Biya while congratulating President Buhari for a successful inauguration into office, said his electoral victory has provided an opportunity for him to preside over the “destiny of Nigeria.”

“Mr President, a dark cloud is looming over our countries even as we welcome you; we are facing the same threat, which may rock the foundation of our two nations.”

“This danger bears the name of Boko Haram, its atrocities and crimes are jeopardizing peace around Lake Chad and especially in our two countries.”

“The number of dead and victims are rising, economic activities have been crippled in affected areas, the number of refugees and displaced persons are ever increasing.”

“We cannot allow this cancer to spread, we must pool our resources and forces and share our experiences,” he said.

President Biya, who reaffirmed Cameroon’s commitment in the fight against terror, welcomed the “fresh push” on economic ties between both countries through easing of trade.

“I strongly believe in your readiness to work towards that goal and your visit to Cameroon as well as the discussions we have had have strengthened my conviction,” he said.

Govt Moves To Check Flooding In Delta

Delta State Governor, Senator DR Ifeanyi Okowa has asserted that unwarranted criticism will not distract his administration from its focus on providing prosperity for all Deltans .

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Charles Aniagwu made the disclosure yesterday while briefing a cross section of journalists on activities of Governor Okowa’s administration in Asaba.

He said “To Senator Okowa, prosperity for all Deltans is not just a political cliché but an agenda that is realisable through commitment to the SMART Agenda,” stressing that “Governor Okowa’s administration means well for the state, he is desirous of leaving Delta State far better than he met it, in the course of our electioneering campaign throughout the state, we were emphatic on our promise to improve on the standard of living of our people,”.

Mr Aniagwu decried negative publicity against Governor Okowa’s administration on the pages of newspapers and the social media noting, “while the Delta State government under Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa strives to actualise its set objectives, it has come to the notice of the state government that some individuals are out, not only to discredit the efforts being put in place, but determined to throw spanner in the wheel of progress in the state development policy initiatives.”

“Even when government welcomes constructive criticisms from right thinking members of the society, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa’s administration will not be cowed neither will it give in to cheap blackmail from few persons, hiding under the cover of being protectors of public interest to falsify information and mislead the unsuspecting members of the public,” the Chief Press Secretary said.

Aniagwu said that Governor Okowa’s administration has taken proactive measures to curb the effects of flooding on Deltans. He stressed that the action has become necessary on account of the predictions of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) that some states in the country including Delta would face flood challenges this year.

Why Buhari’s ‘Baba Go Slow’ Title Best Suits Nigeria – Yoruba Obas

Yoruba Obas under the aegis of Yoruba Obas Conflict Resolution Committee have stated that the slow and steady approach adopted by Muhammadu Buhari to tackle main problems in the country has shown that Nigerians elected a president with quality and good leadership traits.

Vanguard reports that Yoruba monarchs issued a statement through the chairperson of the committee and the Olugbo of Ugbo Kingdom, Oba Fredrick Obateru Akinruntan, at the weekend in Ibadan, Oyo state.

After receiving an award of entrepreneurship by one of the foremost Ibadan clubs, Omo Ajorosun Club, Oba Akinruntan said that the kings were very impressed with Buhari’s composure during his recent visit to the USA. They also noted that the president made the country proud of him because he was confident and responded to all questions that were directed to him.

“He was not ruffled or disturbed but felt homely. Nigerians have just elected a president with quality leadership. I want Nigerians to be patient with him because Nigeria’s problem is not something that can be solved overnight. It is only through a gradual process that we can solve it,” he added.

According to the monarchs, the appellation of ‘Baba Go Slow’ given to Buhari “is what best suits the country now in view of the enormous challenges confronting us and which need painstaking effort being deployed by the President.”

The committee chairman noted in his speech that used Ugboland in Ilaje area of Ondo state was very significant to the Yoruba.

“Ugboland is the first to arrive in Yorubaland and we are the owner of the Yorubas. A lot of people have testified to this and they include the Late Profs Atanda, Akinjiogbin, Ade Ajayi, Ogeh in their various classical books on history relating to Yoruba race. The same testimony has been given by Oba of Benin and Alaafin of Oyo.

“We are the only town in Yorubaland that can boast of crude oil today and we can also take care of other Yoruba towns, so my counsel is for our people to read extensively so as to remove their ignorance and be able to make informed comments whenever the need arises,” he said.

Meanwhile, a cleric from Oyo state called on Nigerians not to tag the president as ‘Baba Go Slow’. According to Moses Kasali of Mercy of Prayer Ministry, Buhari was analysing the situation to ensure nomination and appointment of the most competent and reliable politicians available.

Ijaw Youth Council, Others Hail Buharai On Boroh’s Appointment

SOME Niger Delta region stakeholders have hailed the appointment of retired Brig.-Gen. Paul Boroh, as the Coordinator, Amnesty Programme and Special Adviser on Niger Delta to the President.

They spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in separate interviews in Yenagoa yesterday

The spokesman of Ijaw Youths Council (IYC), Mr Eric Omare, told NAN that the appointment was a show of sensitivity of the administration to the aspirations of the region.

“The IYC commend President Muhammadu Buhari for responding to the agitation of the Niger Delta people by appointing a coordinator for the Presidential Amnesty Programme,’’ he said.

According to him, in our opinion this is the first step toward resolving pressing and pending issues relating to the Niger Delta amnesty programme.

The IYC, he said, urged Boroh to take steps to pay outstanding tuition fees and allowances of beneficiaries, especially those studying abroad.

“We also call on him to consult with critical stakeholders in the Niger Delta region on the future of the amnesty programme and in taking decisions that affects the future and the overall development of the Niger Delta region,” he said.

In his contribution, the Niger Delta Coordinator of Artisan Fishermen Association of Nigeria, Rev. Samuel Ayadi, urged Boroh to urgently commence work on the promises made by the President to the region.

“We applaud Boro’s appointment and want him to look into the problems of the Niger Delta region with particular reference to the many pending oil spill compensations.

“A typical example is the Bonga oil spill incident.

“The National Assembly and oil industry regulator directed Shell to pay us $3.6 billion but they declined to pay.

“The president should compel Shell to comply with the directive,’’ Ayadi said.
Also, Mr Namso Ekpo, President, Onna Industrial Youth Cooperative, a Niger Delta-based group, told NAN that the appointment was a welcome development.

Ekpo advised Boroh to ensure expedited development of the Niger Delta region.

Re-Naming Of Desopadec: Ijaw Withdraws Ultimatum To Okowa

THE Co-ordinator, Delta Ijaw Oil and Gas Producing Communities, Chief Favour Izuokumor, has stated that the ultimatum issued the State Government on the proposed renaming of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, to Delta State Oil Producing Ethnic Nationalities has been withdrawn to allow for further consultation and brainstorming on the way forward.

The decision to withdraw the ultimatum is sequel to the intervention of Traditional rulers, leaders and critical stakeholders of the Ijaw oil and gas bearing communities, saying that, “we shall take a final position on the matter after a more critical look at the government proposal before making our position on the matter known to government”.

Chief izuokumor had led a protest to the State House of Assembly against the proposal by the Governor, Dr. Ifeayin Okowa, to ee-name the oil intervention agency and structure its operations in a way alleged to be to the disadvantage of the major oil and gas bearing communities.

He expressed the view that by attempting to run DESOPADEC on the basis of Senatorial districts, the Itsekiri, Ijaw and Isoko nationalities that produces the largest quantum of the oil and gas in the state would be at great disadvantage because the three ethnic group are all in one Senatorial district, Delta South, thereby making them a minority in appointment/benefits in all ramification from the proceeds of oil and gas resources from their own areas.

Chief Izuokumor who is also the spokesman of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom Council of Chiefs therefore advised that Dr. Okowa should desist from decisions and actions that is capable of triggering another round of unwarranted crisis in the state, saying that “we voted for him to emerge as Governor and must therefore not pay us back with injustice, oppression and marginalization because not all Delta communities or tribe are oil bearing that suffers the devastating effects of oil and gas exploration and exploitation activities in the State”.

Traditional Leaders, Youths Sue For Peace In Delta Communities

Traditional rulers and youths in the three local government areas of Ndokwa communities have sued for peace and unity in the state, stressing that development can only take place where peace, unity and justice are allowed to play in the affairs of the people.

The Okpalauku General and the Onotu General of Obiaruku, headquarters of Ukwuani Local Government Area, HRH Nwaonoku Agagaraga, and Chief Francis Odniy Amudo, respectively, said peace was a necessary ingredient for any community to move from its present state to the next level.

The duo, who were visited by the youths of Ndokwa communities under the auspices of Coalition of Ndokwa Peace Ambassadors (CONPA), during a campaign for peace, insisted that development cannot be divorced from peace, hence the campaign undertaken by the youths to orientate youths of the area to embrace peace was necessary and good.

The traditional leaders emphasised the need for youths, whom the campaign is more targeted due to their vulnerability to violence and youthful exuberance, to embrace peace and create opportunity for development in Ndokwa communities.

The leaders and other community members, who spoke to our correspondent, decried the unwholesome general attitude of youths, with special reference to cultism and communal violence which they described as being inimical to growth and development in communities.

According to the Onotu General “the movement undertaken by CONPA is a good one. We appreciate the efforts of the youths as they are soliciting peace and development in our communities. Cultism is now declining due to different campaigns in Ndokwa land. But the peace movement should not be restricted to traditional rulers; you should locate youth leaders to be part of the campaign so that it will be all inclusive.

“We love what you are doing. When everybody is at peace, you sleep without locking your doors. When there is peace in a community, there is no chaos, everybody goes about their businesses unmolested and undisturbed. So, we appreciate what you are doing and happy to have you with us”.

President of the CONPA, Comrade Alex Chukwuka Uboh, said the essence of the campaign was to sensitise the youths of the area to embrace peace in the state, stressing that rather than youths resorting to violence, he said dialogue was a better option to finding solutions to conflicts.

Comrade Uboh, who led the youths round the communities of Umutu, Obiaruku, Amai and others in Ukwuani Local Government Area, called on all government officials, churches, associations and all groups to see peace as a collective effort of all stakeholders in the state project.

He said “on our part as a social change group, we will take responsibility to educate the growing youth population in Ndokwa land. We will engage them by means of consultation and counseling and also advise them to embrace peace and address issues through dialogue. We believe that it is only through dialogue that problems can be resolved”.

Delta To Embark On Massive Road Construction

DELTA State is set to embark on massive road construction so as to speed up the delivery of prosperity for all Deltans.

“Without good roads, it will be impossible for prosperity to be delivered,” the Commissioners of Works, Water Resources Development, Basic Education and the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Chief James Augoye; Sir Fidelis Tilije; Mr. Chiedu Ebie and Mr. Ehiedu Aniagwu, respectively said in a joint press briefing on the outcome of the State Executive Council meeting held in Asaba.

At the press briefing, which took place at the Government House, Asaba, the commissioners further explained that the executive council approved the construction of a modern market at Orerokpe.

Auguye specifically said, “the Governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, during his campaign made promises and he is in a haste to see that the campaign promises are actualized within the shortest possible time and limited resources available to the state in line with the SMART agenda.”

“We are aware that there is no way the SMART agenda can be actualized without having effective and sustainable road networks across the state, especially in the area of wealth and job creation,” he noted, reiterating that the Governor Okowa’s administration has commenced moves in ensuring that the roads within the state are worked on.

He disclosed that during the executive council meeting, approval was given for the dualisation of “Nnebisi Road from the Traffic Light to Cable Point which terminates at the Bank of the River Niger,” adding, “this road is going to be in two phases, the first phase is from Nnebisi Road to the Cable Market which is about 1.71 kilometres while from the market to the River Niger is going to be a single carriage road.”

The commissioner emphasized that the dualisation of the road had become urgent, “due to the heavy commercial activities taking place and in order to make the area more accessible, there is real need to dualise the road.”

On the construction of a modern market at Orerokpe, Chief Auguye said, “the state executive council also approved the construction of a modern market at Oreropke and the market will have 196 open shops, 28 lock up shops, four offices, 16 toilets, one cold room and one storage room.”

He further said that the construction of the market will be carried out by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry while the dualisation of the Traffic Light to Cable Market would be handled by the Ministry of Works.”

Tilije informed journalists that EXCO also approved the rehabilitation and upgrading of a 20 -bed cottage hospital at Azuowa, Abavo, saying, “this project was first awarded in 2004 and since then, it has been overgrown by bushes and EXCO also approved the bringing back of 130 youths, who are undergoing training in different fields of human endeavour at Trinidad and Tobago and Babados on successful completion of their training so that they can share their experiences.”

“You will recall that in the past six weeks, Governor Okowa’s administration have been requesting for application from the youths and farmers to come and take part in the wealth creation exercise, the first tranche will empower 6, 000 Deltans within six months have been approved by the EXCO,” Tiliije said.

The Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Ebie, also stated “EXCO approved three memo’s for the upgrade and procurement of educational equipment for the Technical Colleges in Agbor, Ofagbe and Sapele; they are spread across the three Senatorial districts on the state, we all know the benefits of technical and vocational education because it helps to train our youths and also assure them of a better future.”

“Sadly these technical colleges, which are six located across the state have been in state of decay to the extent that the buildings were non-existent and everything had deteriorated, so, in line with the SMART agenda and to ensure that our people are properly equipped, the governor had identified these colleges but , due to paucity of funds, only three colleges can be attended to at this time and they will be done in phases,” he said, adding, “there will be an upgrade of the existing facilities which entails the classroom blocks, workshops, residential accommodation for principals and hostels as well as procurement of equipment, machines and everything that will be needed to teach the students,” he said

16yr old kills 4yr old boy in Lagos, removes his intestines, kidney & penis (graphic photo)

This has got to be one of the most painful/heartbreaking news I've heard in a while. A 16-year-old boy named Tajudeen Azeez, lured his 4 year old neighbour to a primary school in the Ijaniki area of Lagos, stabbed him, strangled him and removed his intestines, his kidney and cut off his penis. He did because a man named Osho had approached him and asked him to get him fresh human parts and would pay him N50,000. N50,000 is what a human is worth to some. N50k. Unbelievably sad!
"At first, I did not want to succumb to the temptation but it kept coming. When I woke up this morning (Monday), I saw Ibrahim at the back of the house. I told him to escort me to a primary school not too far from the house. The name of the school is Anglican Primary School, Ijanikin. He followed me to the place and on arrival there, I stabbed him with a knife from behind. He fell down and I strangled him with a rope. I then cut his stomach open with the knife. I am sorry for what I did,”
He was of course caught and made to carry the deceased body. The photo is extremely graphic so please be warned before you continue...

Tajudeen has been arrested by the Lagos state police command according to a report by Daily Trust and is currently at the homicide section of the State Criminal Investigations Department (SCID), Yaba.

According to the acting police public relations officer for the Lagos Command, Patricia Amadin, the body of the deceased has been deposited at a government mortuary. She said Tajudeen was arrested following intelligence information.
“Based on the strength of the information, the DPO and his men raced to the place. On arrival, they found the lifeless body of a four-year-old boy while the suspect was soaked in the deceased’s blood. From close observation, it was discovered that some vital organs such as the kidney and intestine had been removed from the deceased. All the organs were kept in a black nylon bag. The suspect was promptly arrested and taken to the station,” Amadin said. She said they are now looking for the said Osho

Don’t Betray Okowa’s Trust, HOS Tells Agric Ministry Staff

CIVIL servants in the Delta State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources have been charged not to jeopardize the confidence of the Okowa-led administration in their capacity to ensure food security in the state.

The charge was given by the state Head of Service, Sir Patrick Origho when he paid a working visit to the ministry.

He noted that the ministry is among those the Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, once administered, hence he is in tune with the workings and capacity of the ministry, adding that the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, if not only the largest in the state but also remains the most crucial to the delivery of the prosperity agenda to Deltans.

He emphasized the urgent need for the staff to up their performance through discipline, punctuality, commitment, synergy, and project a positive image of the state as the government sorely needs a service- based civil service.

Reacting to the identified challenges of paucity of funds and lack of trainings and seminars, the HOS encouraged the staff to task their minds and come up with ideas and proposals that are will ensure adequate food for the teeming population in the state, assuring them that the Okowa administration is very accommodating to such ideas.

Earlier, the Acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry, Mr. Anthony Onakpoya, cheerfully received the head of service and his team, noting that his visit was the first of its kind, and a sign that he had the general welfare of the sate’s workforce at heart.

He stated that in meeting the mandate of providing enough food for Deltans, the ministry is faced with challenges including inadequate funding, lack of official vehicles for project monitoring, as well as inadequate office accommodation, observing that agriculture is the bedrock for any national development worldwide.

Spanish Police Arrests Nigerians Who Forced Women Into Prostitution Using Juju

Spanish police have arrested a man and a woman of Nigerian origin who allegedly forced Nigerian women into prostitution and practiced voodoo magic to keep their victims under their control.

Vanguard reports that the two suspects were apprehended on a warrant issued by Norway after a Nigerian woman lodged a complaint against them in Oslo.

During the investigation, the Spanish police found out that the victim had been lured to Spain in 2011 by a female suspect who promised her work. However, when the young woman arrived in Spain, she was kidnapped and held in an apartment in Madrid.

Kidnappers forced her to work as a prostitute in several Spanish cities, as well as Bordeaux in France and Oslo, claiming she was owed them a $66,000 debt.
“The ‘madam’ and her accomplices had control over her, using all methods of aggression and threats and resorting to traditional Juju voodoo practices, including animal sacrifices,” the police spokesman said.

He added that the victims were forced to take a pledge of obedience and were persuaded into believing that they would fall ill or become insane if they fail to obey.

During the arrest, the police officers seized false identity documents and several objects linked to the rituals there.

It would be recalled that last month, Spanish police also dismantled a trafficking ring that used voodoo rituals to force women into prostitution.

We Have Our Work Cut Out For Us, We Cannot Afford To Frolic, Saraki Tells Senators As Senate Resumes

The Senate has resumed after a short recess aimed at resolving issues that followed the election of the Senate president Bukola Saraki and Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu who were not the recommended candidates by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Saraki reminded the senators of the job for which Nigerians voted them and urged all members to cooperate so that the upper chamber of the National Assembly can help the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari address the challenges it faces.

Read Saraki’s welcome speech below:

Distinguished colleagues, it is my pleasure once again; to welcome you back to the Senate Chambers after a short recess. It is expected that the recess would have in no small measure helped us consolidate the stability of the National Assembly. Now it is time to move as one house in one direction to fulfill the promise we made to our constituencies that gave us our mandate to deliver real change.
Distinguished colleagues, before we went on recess, we started the process of laying down the marker for the new Senate by inaugurating the Ad Hoc Committee on Senate Finances and the Committee on Legislative Agenda. We expect the reports of Committees to refocus the energy of the Senate on the challenges ahead. We want to show and indeed must show that this Senate is alive to its lawmaking, oversight, policymaking and representation duties.

While we may have adjourned plenary the Senate continued to work within, proactively reaching out to key public institutions including the ICPC, the NBA, NLC, CBN, the IOCs, the FIRS, and many other agencies of government for briefings on the state of the nation and their various agencies as part of a broader Senate strategy to understanding the legal regulatory and institutional gaps that may be holding these agencies back in fulfilling their mandate. This we see as a preliminary step towards closing areas of identified leakages in the revenue system.

Our revenue profile has taken a great hit with the economic realities we face today. Aside the drop in the oil receipt, we have seen revenues plummet due to oil thefts, indiscriminate grants of numerous import duty waivers, concessions and grants. Nigerians want to see the National Assembly tackle these obscenities in our revenue systems as it denies our people the right to good governance.

Distinguished colleagues, our country is passing through a difficult time. We cannot afford to watch the mindboggling leakages in our oil receipt to go on, this Senate is in tandem with Mr. President on this and is determined to turn every stone and shift every rock to ensure that all revenues due to the country from oil are recovered. We are not the only oil producing country in the world; oil theft cannot therefore become an acceptable part of our oil business.

Furthermore, Nigerians are tired of the inadequacies in the power sector and want to see a reinvigorated power sector capable of delivering enough energy to power the new Nigerian economy. Our people dream to see a more open economy, they want to see legislative instruments that will help to open and stimulate private sector investment in infrastructure development, and enhance the ease of doing business in the country.

Distinguished colleagues, in recent times, we have seen resurgence in the activities of Boko Haram and some other criminal elements in our society leading to the death of many of our citizens. We cannot continue to let senseless groups cause untimely death to our citizens without hindrance. This is another sad addition to the cocktail of security challenges we can ill-afford at this time. In the coming days, I will constitute a high powered Senate delegation to visit our troops on the battle line and some of our internally displaced persons in the North East to have a firsthand appreciation of the challenges, the suffering and plight that has befallen our people in the area. Soon afterwards we shall, working together with the House, develop concrete steps towards the rehabilitation and renewal of the battered local economy of the North East.

Make no mistake about it, the aim of these militant groups is simple, to test our resolve and disintegrate our unity. But let me reiterate the readiness and willingness of the National Assembly to support and work with President Muhammadu Buhari to comprehensively rout Boko Haram. We join Mr. President in saying “that we will defeat terrorism in our country and region, because we have the will to win this fight.” Our resolve is collective, we urge all friends of Nigeria including the United States and the entire international community to join us.

Distinguished colleagues, we have our work cut out for us, we cannot afford to frolic. Nigerians did not give us our mandate to come and pursue leadership, their mandate was for us to pursue governance and bring solutions to their burning issues. It is time we remind ourselves of the solemn promise to deliver to our people real change. Leadership is secondary to our primary responsibility of good governance. As Senate President you have given me responsibility to ensure that our primary responsibility is placed on the table not under the table. Nigerians did not put their lives on the line for politics but for the delivery of good governance.

My distinguished colleagues, the Job of changing our corporate destiny starts today. Though the challenges are huge, they are not insurmountable. Let this challenges inspire us as leaders to show courage, statesmanship and valour. We have taken the right first steps out, we must now set out at dawn. We do not have all the time indeed our clock is ticking.

Distinguished colleagues, it is time, lets get started and deliver meaningful change to our people.

Thank you for your attention and God bless Nigeria.

Sen. (Dr.) Bukola Saraki (CON)
President of the Senate, Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Gbajabiamila Finally Becomes House Leader, Thanks To Buhari

After weeks of crisis in the House of Representatives, Speaker Yakubu Dogara has succumbed to pressures from his All Progressives Congress (APC) and named Femi Gbajabiamila House Majority Leader.

President Muhammadu Buhari had reportedly called Dogara on phone following a last-minute meeting with party leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to mount pressure on the speaker who apparently could not say no to Mr President. However, presidential spokesperson Garba Shehu denied there was any call between Dogara and Buhari.

Following the resolution of the crisis, Dogara charged the legislators to proceed to discharge the issues they were voted for, saying that they had wasted enough time on issues of personal aggrandisement.

During yesterday’s proceedings, Speaker Dogara conferred with Gbajabiamila and Ado Doguwa (Kano), who Dogara was tipping as House Leader, in the office of the House Clerk, while his deputy, Rep. Yusuf Lasun took over deliberations.

Following the deliberations that lasted for about one hour, the Clerk returned to the chair and announced the principal officers of the ruling APC.

He announced Pally Iriase (Edo) as deputy whip, Bala Jibrin (Kogi) as Deputy Leader, Doguwa as Chief Whip and Gbajabiamila as Leader.

Dogara also announced the complement of four officers to represent the minority Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as principal officers. Those announced were Rep. Leo Ogor (PDP, Delta) — Minority Leader, Rep. Wilfred Chukwuma (PDP, Anambra) — Deputy Minority Whip, Rep. Yakubu Badre (PDP, Kaduna) — Deputy Minority Leader and Rep. Binta Bello (PDP, Gombe) — Minority Whip.

While a large section of the House was happy about how the leadership tussle ended, lawmakers from the southeast expressed displeasure at the way the APC ignored them.

Reacting to the development yesterday, Rep. Austin Chukwukere (APC, Ideato North/South), Imo State, said that the South-east members were not happy because the party abandoned them despite what they passed through during the election.

“We are not happy over our exclusion and the way the party has abandoned us despite what we passed through during the election to ensure that APC has representation in our place. Our constituents have been calling us over this development and we have not heard from the party why this injustice should be meted on us,” he said.

Senate Passes Vote Of Confidence On Saraki’s Presidency

As the Senate resumed yesterday, a Vote of Confidence was passed on Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki’s presidency, an indication that the leadership crisis in the red chamber is over.

The motion, which was moved by Senator Samuel Anyanwu (Imo east), had a wide range of support base and acceptance of majority of the Senate, as 81 Senators supported the motion.

It would be recalled that Saraki emerged President of the 8th Senate entirely on the goodwill of majority of the Senators who voted for him as their preferred choice against the wish of some party leaders who had at a mock election proposed leaders for the National Assembly.

In a welcome speech, Saraki charged Senators to jettison any act of politicking that is capable of distracting them from the core business of governance and delivering change to their constituents.

“Nigerians did not give us our mandate to come and pursue leadership, their mandate was for us to pursue governance and bring solutions to their burning issues,” Saraki was quoted to have said. According to him, leadership is secondary to our primary responsibility of good governance.

Buhari Approves Appointment Of Boroh As Coordinator N/Delta Amnesty Programme

The tension generated in the South-South region over fears that President Muhammadu Buhari might discontinue the Amnesty Programme for ex-militants in the Niger Delta was doused Tuesday with the appointment of Brig.-Gen. P.T. Boroh (retd.) as the Coordinator of the Programme.

The office became vacant after the former coordinator of the programme, Kingsley Kuku’s tenure ended when ex-President Goodluck Jonathan handed over in May.

A statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said Boroh’s appointment takes immediate effect.

It also said the former Commandant of the Nigerian Army Peacekeeping Centre would take over the responsibilities of Mr. Kuku, who aside being the coordinator of the Amnesty Programme, was Special Adviser to the former president on Niger Delta.

“The appointment of a new Coordinator for the Amnesty Programme is expected to lead to the speedy resolution of recent hitches in its implementation such as the non-payment of outstanding allowances to ex-militants”, Adesina said.

There was primitive looting under Jonathan – Oshiomhole

Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State says there was massive looting of the commonwealth during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

The Governor said while he was in no position to determine if the former President was personally guilty, or if he acquiesced to the looting, but as President, he must take responsibility for what happened under his watch.

In an interview with Sahara Reporters TV in Washington DC, Governor Oshiomhole also said although he had raised many questions on the tenure of the former Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, he has nothing personal against her.

He said: “what is obvious is that so much money was diverted and unaccounted for from government treasury. Not just from excess crude account, but also from other agencies of government.  The numbers are huge.

For example, NNPC reports that they earned about N8 trillion within three to four years and over the same period, they claimed they spent N3.5 trillion and paid to the federation account about N4.1 trillion.

So the cost of running NNPC was as much as the cost of running the federation, both the Federal, State and local governments.  So that tells you the amount of primitive stealing that went on. The numbers are mind-boggling. So when we talk of Excess crude, that is just one element.”

He said his grouse with Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was that as Coordinating Minister of the Economy, so much sleaze and malfeasance went on under her watch without raising an alarm, saying “she has to come clean. Having accepted the role of the Coordinating Minister, so many things went wrong with the Nigerian economy even to the extent that for the first time in our history, even the Federal Government could not pay salary, they had to borrow. The pension scheme has been drawn down, the social purpose of the pension scheme has now been defeated.

“So first of all we are saying, accept responsibility that you failed to manage the economy properly. Two, you never gave in even when we argued that the economy was in distress she was on record as always saying no, the economy was fine, the economy was strong, we are the largest economy on the continent. Of course, people are not fooled, just revaluing your assets and playing with the numbers. What has changed in the quality of life of the people? You have rebased the economy, have you rebased the quality of life? You haven’t!

“If you claim to have the largest economy, you can’t also plead insolvency at the same time. What we are simply asking her to do is to open the whole book. What the council has asked us to do is, the Committee of Four Governors is to just look at this excess crude thing, and show what went in, who took what, when and who authorized it. So at least we have a basis to start. But I think, going forward, we will need a forensic audit by competent auditors to look at the books so that the whole truth can be known even if we can’t retrieve some of the money but I believe a lot can be retrieved and it is good that we have a basis to identify who is responsible and who to be blamed.

“I think people need to recognize that from my own background, I am never intimidated. As a labor leader, I questioned authority, I interrogated power and the fact of being in government doesn’t give me much comfort as to be indifferent about gross abuse of power and criminal diversion of funds. What should I hate her for? What for? I am not a federal official, I am as privileged as any other governor but I am troubled by people saying one thing in the afternoon and doing another at night.

“People should ask the question, how come each time the issue of corruption and abuse or diversion of funds was raised, Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was the first to defend rather than show concern and have open mind. You remember when the CBN Governor whom you can’t dismiss talked about huge billions of dollars diverted, Ngozi was quick to say no, it is not $20billion, it is only $10.8 billion.

“Even that was offensive to good conscience and then later she said we are going to do forensic audit, NNPC books have not been audited. How could she preside over an economy in which the main player such as NNPC was not, as a matter of course, carrying out annual audit? Why should that happen under her watch? A lot of funds accruing to institutions like NIMASA were diverted. Why should that happen under her watch? Contracts were awarded without any bidding.

“If people say there was too much corruption in Nigeria, who was presiding over the economy? She is not on record as having raised any alarm on abuse of office. So there is nothing personal about it. If anything I consider her a friend but she knows that my friendship is subordinated to the bigger national interest. What do I stand to gain? I could as well play along, keep quiet, be a good guy but I will rather be a good guy to my conscience, not to any body’s face.

“So the truth is, she should answer the questions. She was reported to have said that because she didn’t approve the loan the Governor wanted to take to pay contractors and I said very good, I wanted to borrow money to pay contractors, not to pay workers but she was borrowing money to pay salaries but I have never borrowed money to pay salaries, I am up-to-date with the payment of salaries.

“So I am not grumbling because I am frustrated, I am making a point because that is the truth. She is not entitled to claim an honor that she doesn’t deserve in the face of these huge numbers that cannot be accounted for. I believe the President is quietly doing some works to determine what went wrong in the rot that he inherited, to determine who is responsible for what.

“When these numbers begin to come out, I will expect the minister to explain how she can claim to have been a successful Coordinating Minister of the Economy yet the economy suffered so much bleeding and diversion of funds.

“Here in Washington, everybody is talking about billions of dollars of Nigeria crude money that was taken. How could you supervise an economy, you are cooking the soup, the elephant leg is being stolen and you didn’t raise an alarm. People raised an alarm and you shut them up. So I think Nigerians should move away from sentiments. I have even heard people saying it is ethnic issues. It is the typical Nigerian issue when a public officer has no explanation, he seeks escape route by bringing in sentiments of ethnicity and religion.

“For people like me, that doesn’t disturb me at all. I am a union man, I have always interrogated power and when I was in the NLC, I challenged some of our policies. So she knows where I stand. I would rather be known for something that be known for nothing.

“On the issue of PMB decision to probe the immediate past administration of GEJ, Oshiomhole said, “I don’t think probe is the right word. For a President whose major campaign was hinged on ‘if we don’t kill corruption, corruption will kill us’, it is only natural that he recovers what was stolen and I think it is only patriotic that we do that.

“More also when you inherited huge debts and you will be devoting huge resources to service those debts. If we recovered money from Abacha government even after his death, why should anybody ask questions if indeed he should probe.

“I don’t think it is about probing. Probe means investigating what is not obvious but when you can see a thief stealing and you can arrest him, ask him and recover what has been stolen, that is not probe. Probe is like finding what is not clear, it is so clear that so much money was diverted even we were told we are losing 400 thousand barrels a day. How can that happen?  Yes we have always had issues of illegal bunkering but then you talk of 10 thousand or 20 thousand barrels. How can anybody explain 400,000 barrels consistently for 2, 3 consecutive years and incidentally, this is the time that the government gave out contracts to people to protect the pipelines and huge sums of money was paid. So you are asking yourself, how come during the previous government under Yar’Adua, even at the peak of militancy, we didn’t suffer this huge demurrage.

“I think it is not about choice for President Buhari whether or not to recover what has been taken. I think he is obliged to do it in the national interest. I don’t see how he can shy away from it because it is like seeing something stolen from your household and you refuse to recover it; you can see the thief, and sometimes you even can see the stolen goods.

“A lot of stealing went on under President Goodluck Jonathan’s watch, there is no question about that but as for his own personal level of guilt, it is not for me to say. But every President, just like every Governor or Local Government Chairman must accept responsibility for whatever happened under his watch. Leadership is about responsibility.”

WAEC to withhold 19 states results over debts

Hundreds of candidates who sat for the May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination may not have their results released in the next two weeks, the West African Examinations Council has announced.
No fewer than 19 states of the federation owe the council about N4bn examination registration fees.
The WAEC Head of National Office, Lagos, Mr. Charles Eguridu, announced this on Monday at a briefing in Lagos.

He, however, failed to make public the affected states.
Eguridu said, “A total number of 19 states in the country owe the Council in respect of entry fees for state government sponsored candidates for the May/June 2015 WASSCE. Some states also still owe the Council registration fees for the May/June 2014 WASSCE.

“We have written to the affected state governments without any response. The poor response of the debtor states is threatening the smooth operations of the Council.

“We, therefore, want to publicly plead with the affected states to off-set the registration fees of their candidates as soon as possible, as we cannot guarantee that the results of their candidates for the May/June 2015 will be released along with others.”

DESOPADEC Not Dissolved –Okowa

BY FIDELIS EGUGBO

DELTA State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa has described as misleading a newspaper publication alleging the dissolution of the Delta State Oil Producing Communities Development Commission (DESOPADEC), saying the Commission was very dear to his heart and there was no iota of truth in the said publication.

Addressing a press conference yesterday in Asaba, Governor Okowa who spoke through the Chief Press Secretary, Mr Charles Aniagwu disclosed that it was the Board of the Commission that was dissolved.
“We want to make it clear that the Commission is intact and never dissolved, what was dissolved is the Board whose tenure has elapsed long before now,” he said, asserting, “Section 7 of the DESOPADEC Act which provides for a three-year tenure for members of the Commission. The Board he said was inaugurated August 2011 and reconstituted in November 2012, the life of the Board was thus extended by three months to take off in September-November, 2012 when they were out of office and it lapsed by November 2014 following the expiration of their three years tenure as spelt out in Section 7.”

“That meant that they had overstayed their three years tenure,” Governor Okowa added.
He reiterated, “we are also aware of reports suggesting that contractors are being owed money because the Board has been dissolved, nothing can be farther from the truth as one of the early actions of this administration on assumption of office was to direct the release of two billion naira to the Commission to enable it meet its regular and contractual obligations and it is pertinent to also point out here that the Commission between January and May, 2015 received 3.5 billion naira.”

Governor Okowa also used the occasion to shed light on the amendment of the bill setting up DESOPADEC stating, “let us make it very clear that the alleged inclusion of gas in the definition of Oil producing communities is not new as Section 2 of the existing Act aptly defined Oil producing areas as oil and gas producing communities in the state while Section 7 of the principal law, sub section 1 paragraph C, clearly talked about oil producing ethnic nationalities.”

“The reason for the proposed amendment is to reposition the Commission to effectively address the plight of oil bearing communities and not just a theatre for mere ethnic arguments, as such, the introduction of a Managing Director and Executive Director is aimed at efficiently maximizing allocation to the Commission to bring about optimal benefits to the downtrodden people of the oil bearing communities,” he emphasised.

On allegations that the Delta State government received the sum of N70 billion as bailout funds from the Federal Government, Governor Okowa said, “let us make it clear that no 70 billion naira under any guise whether allocation, bailout or gratis was released to the state,” stating that the huge debt burden of the state was being restructured through the Debt Management Office for the loans to become Federal Government bonds thereby giving the state a long repayment period without increasing the debt burden of the state.

He stated that restructuring the debt was a proactive step to enable his administration “deliver on its promise of prosperity to all Deltans.”

Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi, dies at 22

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of late superstar Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown, died Sunday at the age of 22, a representative of the Houston family said in a statement.

“Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away Sunday, July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family,” the statement said. “She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”

She was treated in a hospital and then a hospice facility in the nearly six months since she was found unresponsive and not breathing in the bathtub at her Roswell home on January 31 — nearly three years to the day after her mother accidentally drowned in a bathtub in Beverly Hills, a victim of the vices she had fought for much of her career.

Brown was placed in a medically induced coma, relatives have said. Rumors flew about her condition, with family members and loved ones taking sides in the drama.

In April, her maternal grandmother, Cissy Houston, said Bobbi Kristina had “global and irreversible brain damage.”

“Meeting with the doctors and understanding that she can live in this condition for a lifetime truly saddens me,” Houston said. “We can only trust in God for a miracle at this time.”

The statement was released days after her father and Whitney Houston’s former husband, R & B singer Bobby Brown, told an audience in Dallas, “I can say today, Bobbi is awake. She’s watching me.”

Why Yusuf Will Not Become An Army General – Buhari Explains

President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed why his only son Yusuf didn’t join Nigerian Armed Forces as his father retired Army General.

Garba Shehu, presidential media aide, has written an article in which he spoke about the meeting between President Buhari and his former classmates in the US.

Shehu wrote: “Shortly after the August 1983 military coup that brought a 40-year-old Muhammadu Buhari to power, he received a phone call from a top personnel in the United States Army.
“General Smith was the Commandant of the U.S. War College from which General Buhari graduated in 1980. The school’s 1979 set had graduated its first Nigerian, General Wushishi, who was the Chief of Defence in the just ousted Shehu government. “Please, be kind to him,” General Smith said over the phone.
“The essence of the phone call was not just to congratulate Nigeria’s new Head of State, but to ensure that the first Nigerian to graduate from the U.S. War College would not suffer any indignity under the government of the second Nigerian to graduate from the same school.”

Some Buhari’s former classmates were questioning to know if Nigerian president would place his only son, Yusuf, in the army.
I stopped him from joining the army,” Buhari answered.
He clarified that the army he joined was very different from what it is today, continuing that he was the second Nigerian to be sent to the U.S. War College–based on his records alone, without influences.
“Things took a wrong turn in Nigeria,” Buhari said. “Your records no longer mattered.”
The members of the U.S. War College Class of 1980 gathered at the Blair House in Washington, DC on July 22, to welcome the man they had chosen as their football team referee 36 years ago.
“Being referee all those years ago taught me to be fair and just,” President Buhari said during the meeting.

Among the attendants of the meeting were: Lt. General Granrud (Commander of the U.S. Forces in Japan Rtd), Brigadier General Jack Pellica, General Ronald Griffith (Former Vice Chairman of the U.S. Army Central Command ), Colonel Lany Gordon and Colonel Paul Summerville.
General Smith has since passed on, as have all the directing staff and a larger percentage of the old students from the set.

“This just shows that all of us are on the queue,” Nigerian leader said, “waiting for our turn.”
Retired Army General said he hoped that the U.S. would continue its tradition of training Nigerians in the war college.

At the time Buhari attended the college, he was the only African in his class.
The only other foreigners were from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Israel, Indonesia, Thailand, France and Japan.
The president then went on to update his classmates on his life since he last saw them: his different appointments, his accomplishments and his family.
“I have just received my 13th grandchild,” he said.

Buhari added that the wife they knew him with at the time had since died, and that he had also lost a son and a daughter (Musa and Zulaiha) from his late wife.
Of all my eight children,” he said, “only one is a boy.”
Some of the former classmates present at the meeting noted that at the time they met President Buhari back in 1980, they knew little about Nigeria or Africa.
Meanwhile, Buhari defined his war college experience as being responsible for his subsequent life of hard work, endurance and perseverance.
He said: “I contested for president three times and failed,” he said. “Then I did it the fourth time and won.”

President Buhari then rendered his narrative of the collapse of the Soviet Union, breaking into 18 republics and how that influenced his decision to join politics.
“The collapse of the Soviet empire in 1980 without a single shot being fired convinced me that the multi-party democratic system was the best for all countries.” President Buhari then expressed appreciation to President Barack Obama and to the U.S. for the role the country played in Nigeria’s successful elections, recalling Secretary of State, John Kerry’s visit to him and to former president Goodluck Jonathan, as well as to Attahiru Jega, the electoral commissioner at the time.
“Kerry read the riot act to all of us,” he said, “saying that the conduct of the election must be free, fair and in line with the Constitution.” He added that, without US intervention, the electoral malpractices of the past twelve years would likely have happened again.
“God made me but America made me,” he said.

The class of 1980 gave President Buhari the full assurances of their support, noting that they were willing to use their experience to assist him in any way they can, particularly with tackling terrorism in northeast Nigeria.

In September, Nigerian president will be meeting once again with his former classmates, at another event scheduled to take place at the United Nations.
