ROTARY CLUB HONOURS OKOWA’S AIDE, HILLARY IBEGBULEM WITH HUMANITARIAN SERVICE AWARD
The Principal Secretary to the Delta State Governor, Mr Hilary Ibegbulem has been honoured by the Rotary Club, Asaba Metropolitan, with one of its most prestigious awards, the Humanitarian Service Award.
The award was presented to Mr. Ibegbulem by a high powered delegation from the Rotary Club, Asaba Metropolitan, led by Rotn. Jeff Ndubuisi Jeff-Okofu, the 12th President of the Rotaray Club at a special and distinguished ceremony befitting the honour done to the Principal Secretary to the Delta State Governor.
Speaking at the award presentation ceremony, Rotn. Jeff Ndubuisi Jeff-Okofu, who was recently elected as the 12th President of The Rotaray Club, Asaba Metropolitan, congratulated Mr Hillary Ibegbulem for accepting the honour done to him by the Rotray Club, even as he noted that the Principal Secretary to Governor Okowa has contributing powerfully to the growth of Delta State and Nigeria at Large, and his contributions have been monitored by well meaning Deltans across, especially the Rotary Club of Asaba Metropolitan family, with great satisfaction and this has motivated the decision to confer on him the prestigious Humanitarian Service Award.
Rotn. Jeff-Okofu then urged Deltans and Nigerians to emulate Mr Hilary, describing him as a leader of inestimable value. He said, “We are pleased to honor Mr. Hillary Ibegbulem with this year’s Award for humanitarian service in recognition of the wonderful humanitarian and public service support and assistance he has been doing over the years.”
Mr Hilary while receiving the award, hailed the Rotary Club Asaba Metropolitan for their dedication and valuable contributions towards improving the quality of life and providing social amenities to the people of Asaba Metropolitan, and while thanking them for recognizing him with the prestigious Humanitarian Service Award, pledged that the honour done to him with the recogtion, will serve to spur him to be more committed in touching more lives with his humanitarian deeds.
The ceremony was witnessed by top officials in the Delta State Government including the Director of Protocol, Government House Asaba, Hon Ifeanyi Eboigbe and Special Adviser to the Governor of Delta State on Labour and Industrial Relations Comr Mike Okeme, who have since congratulated Mr. Hilary Ibegbulem on his meritorious award.
