NURTW IKA NORTH EAST BRANCH “A” CONGRATULATES OKOWA


IKA WEEKLY

The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) branch “A” Ika North East, led by Comr. Patrick Ukpandu during an enlarged meeting of the union, congratulated Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on his emergence as the People's Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate in Delta State.

Comr. Patrick Ukpandu noted that Okowa's victory has proven to the people that equity is achievable. He lauded the efforts of the delegates for voting for Okowa at the primaries. He said that his union is solidly behind him as they are poised to ensuring his victory.

He therefore urged Deltans to cast their votes for Okowa in the general election as he will bring to fore his experiences garnered over years in the governance of the state.

Executive members of the union of the executive present at the meeting include, Comr. Patrick Ukpandu, Chairman, Comr. Prince A. Obi 1st Vice Chairman, Comr. Sir. Chuks Agbontin, 2nd Vice-Chairman, Comr. Sunday Arogie, Secretary, Comr. V.N Aliogo, Treasurer. Other are Comr. Romeo Odudu, financial secretary Comr. Unah Andrew, Assistant Secretary, Comr. Benjamin Isimekwele, Auditor, Comr. Godsent Ejinewe, Organizing Secretary, Comr. Atoi Anthony, 1st Trustee and Comr. Friday Nwonicha 2nd Trustee.
