OWA LADIES VANGUARD DRUMS SUPPORT FOR OKOWA, OTHER PDP CANDIDATES - IKA WEEKLY
The Owa Ladies Vanguard, (OLV), led by Mrs. Edith Aleh, on Thursday, 22nd of January, 2015 drummed support for distinguished Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and other concerned candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across the country to enable them emerge in the general elections in February. This endorsement was made by the said group during the PDP campaign tour to Ward-2, Owa Alero in Ika NorthEast local Government area.
The group called on all Deltans most especially, the people of Delta North to cast their votes for Senator Dr. Ifenayi Okowa and President Goodluck Jonathan. They also used the medium to appeal to all Ika sons and daughters to support Hon. Barr. Victor Nwokolo for House of Rep and Mr. Tony Elekeokwuri for Delta House of Assembly respectively.
Some of the executive members of the association include; Mrs. Edith Aleh- president, Mrs. Florence Onyekponwanye, Vice-President, Mrs. Deborah Egwu-Animkwu- Treasurer, Mrs. Isioma Nwadibie- P.R.O and Mrs. Mabel Bienose, Secretary.
