With the advent of and the growing power of social media, publicity seems to have overshadowed talent. There are people with extreme talent but are overshadowed by over-hyped people with less to no talent. There are many people with rising fame in Nigeria’s entertainment industry but have accomplished nothing or are absolutely talentless.
 

1. Maheeda: When she broke onto the entertainment scene, she claimed she was a gospel artiste. But right now people who know her know her for posting unclad photos of her body on social media. She is the self acclaimed Goddess of X and the public acclaimed Nigeria’s unclad queen. Most Nigerians don’t even know she sings at all. This tells a lot about how terrible her sons are.

Afrocandy: This is another supposed Nigerian entertainer who is more popular for showing off her oranges and every other thing that makes her a woman rather than an actress/singer which she would claim she is if asked what she does or what her talent is. She did a song to campaign for President Jonathan during the election campaign. If courage was a talent, she might have been in contention to be named talented person because she is the only Nigerian actress who has starred in a soft P0*n movie (it takes courage to that in a Nigerian society). But since bravery isn’t a talent, she is far below on the pecking order of talented people.

3. Cossy Orjiakor: The first thing you need to know about Cossy is that she is a Nollywood actress with a couple of movies to her name. The second thing you need to know is that she has very huge t*ts. But in the real sense of it, Cossy is more popular for her huge t*ts which she shows off everytime than for her acting prowess. A lot of Nigerians do not even know Cossy is an actress. If you’ve managed to see any of her movies, you would agree that the only reason she’s an actress is because of what she has on her chest.

4. Denrele Edun: Denrele is one Nigerian celebrity who has managed to annoy entertainment enthusiast in the country and has managed to stay in the celebrity circle nonetheless. Denrele’s looks alone can make you puke if you are a right thinking individual. His dress sense is one of the weirdest Nigeria has ever seen. He calls himself an OAP, but when you see him do his job, you will think all being an OAP entail is talk more than you actually listen.
