The 31-year-old model split from the rapper with who she has two-year-old son, Sebastian – last September and though they are currently dating other people, she hopes they will eventually reconcile.
She said: ‘We’re not back together but ideally I would like to. He’s the love of my life and we have a beautiful kid together but right now we’re just dating other people.
‘We’re working on our friendship and co-parenting for Sebastian which is the most important thing.’
While Amber wants to get back with Wiz, she also has a crush on ‘Sons of Anarchy’ star, Charlie Hunnam.
She admitted to MailOnline: ‘Charlie Hunnam is so hot, he’s gorgeous. I was sorry he didn’t keep the ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ role, that sucked. He’s my only celebrity crush.’
Last year, Amber was romantically linked with her manager, Nick Cannon but she insists they are just friends, though very close.
She said: ‘Nick is one of my favourite people in the world and that’s why he’s my manager. He just gets it. He gets everything that I’m trying to do with my life and he facilitates it.’
The model is working on her autobiography and suggested ex-boyfriends, such as Kanye West ought to be worried about its contents.
She said: ‘A lot of the stories come from mistakes I have made, there are a lot of little gems about taking care of your finances, love, sex and relationships. A bit of everything.’
Asked if her exes should worry, she replied: ‘You’ll have to read the book to find out.’
