One of the most bloodiest terrorist groups in the world,
Islamic State (ISIS), has executed 19 women in its Iraqi stronghold of
Mosul for refusing to have sex with the fighters.
According to The Independent, this was made known by Said Mimousini, a spokesperson for the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
The official said that the females had been killed over the weekend. Mimousini was quoted as saying:
“The penalty decision came on the background of the refusal to participate in the practice of sexual jihad.”
Recall that since the abduction of the Chibok girls in April 2014, numerous reports have claimed that the children were either married to the militants, or were used for sexual slavery, or raped by the terrorists. The ISIS recent execution has revived this fear, as there are allegations that the Nigerian sect is following the ISIS pattern in its activities.
Apart from being one of the deadliest, ISIS is definitely the wealthiest terrorist organization on the planet. This is one of the reasons why Nigerians got alerted when Boko Haram sect pleaded allegiance to Islamic State earlier this year. Experts raised alarm that with the support of the “wealthy colleagues”, Boko Haram, which has been recently on the rampage, might become even more powerful.
