Burutu Council Boss Forwards New Scribe To DTHA
The Chairman of Burutu Local Government Area, Hon Ebikeme Clark yesterday forwarded the name of Mr. Victor Awisi to the Delta State House of Assembly for confirmation as Secretary of the council area.
The letter forwarded announced by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya, said the appointment of Mr. Awisi was due to the resignation of the immediate past Secretary to the Local Government, Barr. Roland Oweilaemi Pereotubo.
The House presided by the Speaker, Hon. Igbuya received the letter through a motion moved by the Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Oboro Preyor and seconded by Hon (Dr.) Alphonsus Ojo representing Ukwuani Constituency.
The Speaker however urged the nominee to submit 35 copies of his curriculum vitae to the Office of the Clerk of the House, Barr (Mrs.) Lyna Ocholor on or before Thursday ,August 20, 2015 and appear before the House on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 for screening.
Mr. Victor Awisi is a graduate of Secretariat Administration from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt in 1984 and an indigene of Torugbene community, Burutu Local Government Council
