Nigeria Needs Prayer, Not Condemnation – Pastor Okenye

Renowned preacher of the Gospel and the founder of Wind of Change Deliverance Ministry, Pastor Chuks Elishia Okenye (a.k.a Baba Fire) has called on all Nigerians to pray for the country instead of condemning her.

Delivering a sermon, at the church service at Agbor, the man of God noted that people, even Christians don’t pray for the nation, but complain and confess that the country is not good.

He said one will never hear an American saying something negative about America, adding that they may talk about one bad policy of the government or the other but you will never hear them say “America is bad or corrupt”, an average American citizen’s slogan, he continued, is “God Bless America”.

The preacher, who titled his message “Who Shaved My Hair”, and took his bible reading from the book of Judges Chapter 16, noted that Samson who was supposed to be a Saviour could not manage his  weakness, thereby falling into the snare of Selilah.

He urged Christians to learn how to manage their weakness, saying that it was Samson who allowed his hair to be shaved without his permission, in his words “it is when you allow a barber to shave you that he can, if you don’t want to be shaved nobody can touch your hair. People, as a result of their weakness allow Satan to take control of their lives, you must learn to manage your weakness if you want to set to where God has destined you to be”, he said.
