Rapper Kendrick Lamar has claimed himself as the King of New York (despite being from California) taking the title of being the best overall rapper away from Jay-Z, Mac Miller, Pusha T, ASAP Rocky, and Nas -to name a few- in his collaboration on Big Sean's newest single "Control (HOF)."
In the song the youngest rapper to appear on mainstream went in for the kill attacking every rapper lyrically in an attempt to set the bar a little higher than his predecessors. In Kendrick's verse he raps:
