APOSTLE OKENYE LAUNCHES SECOND BOOK

The General Overseer of Wind of Change Church, aka Liberation City, Apostle Chuks Elisha Okenye has launched his second book title “LIBERATION AND PERSONAL DELIVERANCE PRAYERS- VOLUME ONE” at the church auditorium in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area on Sunday, August 4, 2013.
Apostle Okenye in a message he title “STORY TO GLORY” said that every successful man in life has a story to tell  and that Christians should not envy the glory of any man but rather study critically the story of such a person. He noted that a lot of people see the glory of a man and assess that person based on the glory not considering the story of such a person, saying that, that is the reason people condemn men of God and the rich people.
The Apostle asserted the people are only seen when they become successful or wealthy or may have progressed in life but not when they were suffering. He used the story of Joseph in the Bible as a case study, saying that believers pray that as Joseph became the prime minister of Egypt so shall they also be taken from prison to palace, stressing that none of them consider or desire the suffering of Joseph.   He explained that Joseph was thrown into a pit, sold into slavery, served as a slave for years and was sent to prison  f or a crime he never committed. How many are ready to suffer all that, he asked?

Speaking to Ika weekly immediately after the launching, Apostle Okenye stated that a prayer less Christian is a powerless Christian. He called in all Ika son and daughter to turn to God in prayer in fighting the evils in the land. He advised men of God and Christian in general that this is not the time to condemn and criticize one another, but a time to turn to God in prayers, he said.

He quoted the book of Psalm50:15 “call upon me in the days of trouble I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me,” and 1Thessalonia 5:17 “pray without ceasing” adding that God desires that Ika politicians should come together in love and unity in other for Ika land to progress.

“We will all get to our destination in Jesus name Amen,” he prayed.
