ANY PDP MEMBER CAUGHT PLAYING FACTIONAL POLITICS IN IKA LAND WILL BE SUSPENDED- Chief Ogadi

IKA WEEKLY

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chairman in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Godwin Ogadi has said that any member of the party caught playing factional politics will be suspended. The PDP leader gave the warning on Saturday March 7, 2015 at Ika National Hall, Agbor, during an enlarged meeting of party and community leaders in Ika land.

He said Ika has united politically as all PDP leaders from the area are now speaking with one voice, stressing “now that we have peace we don't want faction any more. We should do everything possible to protect the peace that now exist among us.

The Ika North East PDP chairman enjoined Ika people to vote PDP in all the elections starting from the presidency to the state assembly.

He noted, “because of the good thing coming to Ika land, that is the governorship position, we should not relent our support for the PDP. We should preach the good message to our brothers, sisters, family members and friends that Senator ifeanyi Okowa is our choice in the April 11 governorship election.

We should also tell them to cast their votes for President Goodluck Jonathan and other PDP candidates in the March 28 and National Assembly April 11, State Assembly elections. A vote for the PDP is a vote for a guaranteed future for all Nigerians,” he said.

In the same vein, a PDP chieftain in Delta State, Hon. Ifeanyi Eboigbe has called on Ika political office holders to come and help develop their home rather running away from their responsibility. Hon. Eboigbe who made the call last weekend at Ika national Hall, Agbor, said, “to whom much is given much is expected. We don't want leaders in exile anymore. If you know you love Ika land come back home and work.”
