Rosie O’ Donnell and Michelle Rounds-Rosie O’Donnell came out of the closet in 2002.
In 2004, the comedienne, actress, author and television personality married Kelli Carpenter. By November 2009, the couple had split and Rosie was publicly seen with new girlfriend Tracy Kachtick-Anders only to split in 2011. Rosie then tied the knot with new girlfriend Michelle Rounds in 2012. The couple has an adopted daughter named Dakota.
Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita-After dating his boyfriend of nearly two years, Jesse Tyler Ferguson of Modern Family fame, tied the knot with lawyer Justin Mikita on July 20, 2013, in New York City. Their wedding was a lavish ceremony that boasted some famous names including Rebecca Romijn, Zachary Quinto, Mary Murphy and Padma Lakshmi.
The Sex and the City star was married to photographer Danny Mozes for 15 years before calling it quits. The couple has two children together. It was only in 2004 that Nixon began dating education activist Christine Marinoni. They even got engaged in 2009 and legalized their union in 2012. In an interview to The Daily Telegraph, Nixon was quoted saying that she was simply a woman in love with another woman.
David Furnish and Sir Elton John-Sir Elton John was engaged to his former lover, secretary Linda Woodrow and later even got married to Renate Blauel in an alleged bid to cover his sexuality. Amidst media speculation, she finally opened up about her relationship with Samantha in December 2008. Though she denied being bi sexual in interviews, she finally admitted in an interview that she was in a relationship with the DJ and loved her. They have two children together: three-year old twins Harper and Gideon.
Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres-After a series of relationships, including a marriage with Mel Metcalfe, Ally McBeal star Portia de Rossi found true love in the form of famous talk show host Ellen De Generes. Though Portia was initially skeptical about being openly gay due to professional reasons, she ultimately spoke out. Married to Ellen for the past five years, the two met backstage during an award’s function. She even legally changed her name to Portia Lee James DeGeneres. Though there are rumours about the two splitting, Portia and Ellen couldn’t seem more in love.
