Emu used the forum to challenge women in the state, as well as other Deltans to take advantage of the melon sheller machines which has the proficiency of shelling large quantities of melon to take into commercial cultivation, melon, adding that the state government was prepared to provide more machines to other senatorial districts in the state.
He therefore enjoined the women to put the machines into productive use, saying, “Anything you are given, you should work hard to protect them and ensure that they were used judiciously”.
On his part, the Chief Job Creation officer, Prof. Eboh, said the exercise which will soon be extended to the two other senatorial districts of the state is part of the state government’s efforts towards its wealth and job creation plan for its citizenry.
