Another Monarch In Delta State Kidnapped
Barely a week after the decomposing body of the Akaeze Ofulue III of Ubulu-Uku (pictured above) was found in a bush after he was kidnapped by suspected Fulani herdsmen on Obior/ Igbodo Road, Delta State, another monarch, Umukoro Josiah, the Aghaza 1of Olomoro in Isoko south local government area of Delta state, was kidnapped by some gunmen in his palace at Ekiagbodo yesterday morning January 29th.
The Delta state Police command spokesperson, Celestina Kalu, has confirmed his abduction.
In a text message she sent to reporters she said
“The Olomoro King, Aghaza 1 was kidnapped in his office in Olomoro community. The kidnappers are heading to unknown destination with a Dark Green Rav 4 Jeep.” She said the police were on the trail of the abductors and is working to rescue the monarch.
