Brown Ideye out for 10 days
Brown Ideye has been ruled out for 10 days after picking up a strain while on international duty with Nigeria.
The striker injured himself while training with Nigeria, and missed the last two training sessions before the Super Eagles 2-1 defeat of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa.
But he came on as a substitute during the game and helped turn the tide for the Eagles.
On return to Kyiv however, the injury returned and he has been given 10 days to rest.
"The medical staff here told me it's nothing serious, it just needs rest and I've been told to take 10 days to rest it," Ideye told KickOffNigeria.com.
"I'm just going to focus on getting well and returning to action as soon as possible."
Ideye has formed a delightful partnership with Fenerbahce striker Emmanuel Emenike, and his introduction in Addis saw Emenike flourish as he went on to claim the goals that secured victory.
