Governors Fashola and Ibikunle Amosun of Lagos state and Ogun state respectively have come to the aide of sick actor, Kayode Odumosu popularly called Pa Kasumu.
Both governments made a N3.5million donation to help the ailing actor. Confirming this via telephone chat, Tunde Odumosu, son of pa Kasumu said this,
We got a call on Friday (October 25, 2013) to come to the Lagos State Secretariat in Alausa. When we got there, we were presented with a cheque of N1.5million on behalf of the State Government’, Odumosu said.
The following day, Saturday, October 26, 2013 the representatives of the Ogun State governor, Ibikunle Amosu visited Pa Kasumu’s residence in Mushin and also made a donation of N2million.
