Borno state governor, Kashim Shettima, yesterday reopened the Maiduguri-Gubio- Kareto-Damasak road and Maiduguri -Monguno-Baga road leading to northern Borno which were closed since 2014 due to Boko Haram. The re-opening ceremony was witnessed by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai and other top military officers. More photos below:
