Another Nollywood Actress Gets Govt. Appointment

Popular Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola Salako has been appointed as brand Ambassador for Ekiti State Festival tagged, ‘EKTI FEST’.

The chubby actress who has been missing in Nollywood since her marriage elatedly said, “I have been made a brand ambassador of the Ekiti State Festival, so, I am here in Ekiti more than the way I do stay in Lagos. I’m among the first set of Nollywood practitioners who took Nollywood people to Ekiti. I was appointed as an ambassador because of my educational pedigree and about the only celebrated face in Yoruba Nollywood with a Masters Degree in International Law and Diplomacy.”

Although, Moji Olaiya, Bukkie Wright, Ireti Osayemi and a hosts of others are expected to grace the event which will come up in December 2013, they have not been favoured or received accolades like Foluke.

Ekiti State first lady, Mrs Bisi Fayemi will be the Chairperson for the committee of the Festival while Chief Mrs.foluke ekiti Ronke Okusanya, the State’s Commissioner for Culture and Tourism would be the Vice Chairperson.

Also Mrs. Yetunde Fosudo, wife of veteran actor Sola Fosudo, who is now the Director of Culture in Ekiti State is part of the team, we gathered.
