BEWARE OF THE 2 FACED PROPAGANDISTS ON PARADE; TRYING IN VAIN TO WATER DOWN THE EFFORTS OF GOVERNOR OKOWA (Part One)

Whenever I go through my Facebook wall and see certain write ups trying to lambast Governor Okowa and his team, I see nothing but cheap, shallow and outdated propaganda. I wouldn't want to mention names but most of us know them very well. You can easily deduce the motive behind their vain rants after going through only the first paragraph of their smear articles. I am yet to see any of such write ups that comes up with absolute facts that cannot be denied. Only the faint hearted and "highly" gullible will fall for such cheap tricks.

The APC is a party known very well for their full utilization of the power of propaganda and lies. This they used to full effect before and during their election campaigns. They recorded a great success with such a despicable method not because they were smarter but because most Nigerians are gullible to cheap rumours and there was so much sentiment against a South South President by some regions who think they were born to rule.
Here in Delta State and in the South South, we stood resolute to our belief and never allowed ourselves to be swayed by such cheap lies most of which were out of place and plain stupid. We are more enlightened than people think we are.

We are great analysts who take our time to analyze events before drawing conclusion. In a country where sentiment is the order of the day, it takes a whole lot more than cheap smears and propaganda to change that. APC won the presidential election not because of their propaganda but because they played on sentiment of the region(s) with the highest population. It was purely a religious, regional and tribal affairs which didn't really have much to do with the popularity of the candidates nor the parties involved.

Yes! In our region we have embraced PDP with all our hearts especially after the events of the past elections. We never allowed ourselves to be swayed by the "so called" wind of change. APC failed woefully in Delta State. Yet I am surprised to see them making so much noise and crying for a re-run. Anytime I see such, I just cannot help but laugh at such lame efforts at usurping power from whom it rightfully belong. If there's going to be any re-run for whatsoever reason, Governor Okowa will still win by a landslide but the funniest part is that the APC were not even close to winning a single LGA not to talk of winning a re-run. Instead of restrategizing for 2019, they are busy trying to fight for a re-run. A re-run which they know they will fail woefully like they did at the general elections. Even if they try to to buy over the support and partnership of the Labour Party (something that won't even happen) they will still fail woefully.

They are busy littering the social media with smears and cheap propaganda just to discredit the good works of Governor Okowa. Their aim is to poison the minds of the people towards the present administration. The question is, "is the APC any better than picture of PDP they are painting?" I will give a detailed answer to that question in subsequent write ups but for now I will point out 2 examples of APC led States. Osun and Imo readily comes to mind, not forgetting Edo State where government is being run like a private business. I won't go into details here because that's not the purpose for this write up. All I want is to let Deltans know they have the best Governor since the inception of the State and whatever the opposition is trying to do to rubbish him should be discarded. Every smear against him is born out of sentiments and selfish aims.

This is Delta State and if we must move forward, we must stand true to our belief and reject anyone or party that is trying to steer up trouble. Governor Okowa hasn't done badly in terms of developmental strides and appointments. He is not lopsided. He has embraced every part of the State in his cabinet. For those listening or following the propaganda against him, be warned and beware for these people are nothing but 2 faced propagandlists and greedy politicians fighting for their own belly and not for the good of our beloved State. If you go close to them you will know their true motives. We know them and trust me, they don't have any plans for a better Delta State.
