Baby born with an abnormal bulge that is pushing her BRAIN out of her skull

A Pakistani baby girl who was born with an abnormal bulge on the top of her head is desperately waiting for life-changing surgery.
Anila Ali, from Dokri in the Sindh province of Pakistan, was born with an unusually large, soft head, which doctors diagnosed as a severe form of craniosynostosis.
This is thought to be causing pressure to build inside the three-month-old’s head, which is forcing her brain to spread outside of her skull.
Medics are baffled as to how to treat the newborn, who also suffers from a severe form of spina bifida, which they claim has caused a tumour to develop on her back.
Anila’s 19-year-old mother Naushaba, said: ‘I was happy when I gave birth to Anila, my first child, three months ago in a private clinic.  But, I got afraid when I first saw her head.
‘Her head was not developed properly and doctors told us to take her to the children hospital in Larkana. Her head was so soft that doctors told us that even a small injury on her head can do her a lot of damage.’
Naushaba and her husband Amad Ali, 21, took Anila to Larkana where doctors then advised them to take her to Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre in Karachi.
Unable to afford to make the 270-mile (430km) journey, the couple’s friends and family gave them £800 to cover the cost of their travel and stay in Karachi.
Amad, who earns just £4 a day as a daily wage labourer, said: ‘We took a lot of loans to arrange a visit and stay in Karachi.  I wish our daughter gets the right treatment here.’

Son of Russian tycoon goes on the run after 'beating porn star to death and seriously assaulting four prostitutes'

Authorities in Russia are looking for the 'golden boy' son of a Russian tycoon who is on the run after allegedly beating a porn star to death and assaulting four prostitutes.

Andrey Demenkov, 32, an ex-Gazprom executive and son of Valery Demenkov, 69, a former senior policeman turned wealthy business tycoon, struck mother-of-one Olga Kudrova, 21, more than 100 times with a blunt instrument, according to the criminal case against him.

It was also claimed in a forensic report, that he also sought to drown her in a bath but she died from a blow to the temple.

Police say the woman worked as an escort as well as being an adult actress, but before visiting Demenkov she told relatives she was seeing the man she loved.

According to Police, the suspect father found Kudrova's battered body in the bath after going to his son's apartment when he failed to answer his phone. He then called an ambulance but she was found to have died of her injuries.

Four other women, all sex workers were also attacked and suffered serious injuries, said police.

According to Mail Online, Andrey had allegedly kidnapped and 'severely beaten' a 32-year-old woman at his St Petersburg apartment back in July.

The publication also revealed that the 32-year-old had been convicted of kidnapping a woman friend and subjecting her to a four-day ordeal including 'torture' before she escaped by a 'miracle' after managing to alert neighbours.

Police are now warning that Demenkov who they have nicknamed 'Bluebeard' is a danger to women from violence and holding them against their will.

A law enforcement source said: 'We are looking for a criminal, but in fact, this is someone who… is a kind of 'Bluebeard'.

On his social media he posted 'Too weird to live, and too rare to die', and in another account 'Never believe a woman'.

Mum who still breastfeeds her five-year-old and baths naked with him says it’s "normal"

A mother who still breastfeeds her five-year-old son and bathes naked with him says she will continue to do so because she wants to break down stigma and show that it's totally "normal".

Stay-at-home mum Amy Hardcastle, from Lancashire, says it's easier to nurse older kids because you can tell them when you feel sore.

When her son Max was first born in July 2013, Amy didn't feel comfortable breastfeeding him but she soon grew confident. The 27-year-old has been giving her son solid food alongside her milk since he was six months old. But, after learning about the benefits of mum's milk, Amy said she felt no need to wean him off completely.

Mum who still breastfeeds her five-year-old and baths naked with him says it?s "normal"

She explained:
We almost quit breastfeeding at four weeks old because of latching problems, but someone helped me out just in time.
I have breastfed Max for five years, and he breastfeeds now a few times a week, but neither of us have decided to stop nursing yet.
I try to explain that just because something isn’t the cultural norm here, it doesn’t make it wrong.
Breastfeeding makes complete sense since my body continues to produce milk to sustain and nourish my child.
Once you’ve cracked breastfeeding it’s just about going for as long as it works for both of you.
When he was younger I used to breastfeed in public - but it’s always at home now.
I’ll keep going until he wants to stop. I don’t have a problem continuing until he’s fully done.
I have friends who were also happy to continue to carry on until the child weaned and they stopped much younger because all children are different.
I don’t give my son breast milk over food, if he’s hungry then he eats and if he wants to nurse then he does so.
Breast milk never stops being good for you and it’s mostly about comfort and closeness.
It actually gets easier to breastfeed as they grow older - you don’t have to breastfeed every two hours.
You can also talk about it with them, I can let him know if my breasts are feeling sore or if I’m feeling touched out and need to say no or ask him to wait until later.
Amy wants to normalise breastfeeding older kids, and openly posts pics on Instagram, though some reactions have been negative.

Mum who still breastfeeds her five-year-old and baths naked with him says it?s "normal"

She said:
From time to time I get something nasty or aggressive come through, but I just don’t think about it too much and block it out.
I want to normalise these things that people aren’t used to seeing and showing people that there are other ways to do things.
Solidarity for any mums who still nurse their toddlers and children should be validated.
As long as we are both OK with it then there’s nothing wrong with us continuing to do so.

Zambia deports South African dancer, Zodwa Wabantu for performing without pant

Controversial South African dancer, Zodwa Wabantu, who is popularly known for performing without underwear, was deported from Zambia on Saturday, on the grounds that her performance would “undermine national values”.
“Zodwa has been deported,” her Zambian promoter Lucky Munakampe, confirmed the development, adding that she said she had flown out at 0520 GMT on a South African Airways flight.
Zambian musician Karasa Karayo was scheduled to launch his album on 10th March 2018 and the promoter for the show Sunset Sound Production, had lined up Zodwa to perform.
The organizers of the show said in a statement earlier this week that Zambia’s National Arts Council had rejected their application.
Zambia deports South African dancer, Zodwa Wabantu for performing without pant
(NAC) claimed that allowing Zodwa to perform in Zambia will be against the country’s national values adding that the application did not meet the three months period in which to apply for clearance. NAC further said Zodwa’s performance in Zambia would be against public interest.
“The Council stated that… Zodwa’s performances were not in the public interest and undermined our national values,” the statement said.
National Guidance and Religious Affairs Minister, Godfridah Sumaili last week told state-run newspaper The Times of Zambia that Zodwa was not welcome in the country and was promoting immorality with her shows.
Zodwa says that when she confirmed that she was not wearing underwear, she was deported, reports Independent Online.

Zodwa said that she was not angry with Zambian authorities and hoped to return to the country soon.
“Leave them to fight, I will be back when they are ready to have me. There was so much fighting between them. I am just an entertainer who was invited to perform. I was stuck in the middle of it all. I would love to still perform in Zambia in the future.”
Earlier this week Zodwa told TshisaLIVE that she would go ahead with plans to perform in the country, despite suggestions that she would not be welcome by authorities over her decision to not wear underwear while performing.
“I think that people are just trying to sabotage me and the event. The underwear thing is my choice and I don’t understand why people are so upset. There are Christians who do much worse things behind closed doors.”
She said that authorities were hoping to pray for her and cast out her “demons” while she was in the country.
“I will never wear a panty. I won’t change who I am for them. Maybe they think they will pray for me or make me better. I survived 2017 and I will survive this year. They can go and *fuck* off if they have a problem with it.”

Indian Twin Kids Joined At The Skull Successfully Separated By 30 Doctors

Toddler twins joined at the head have been successfully separated today following an 11-hour operation by a team of 30 doctors, 20 nurses and many other paramedical staff.Medics from around the world came together in New Delhi, India, for the risky surgery on Jaga and Kalia, who amazed the health profession by surviving to the age of two-and-a-half.

The twins were born in a village in the eastern state of Odisha with shared blood vessels and some shared brain tissue.

They had undergone the first phase of the separation surgery in August.

“The most challenging job after the separation was to provide a skin cover on both sides of the brain for the children as the surgery had left large holes on their heads,” said Maneesh Singhal, a plastic surgeon who was a part of the operating team.

“The skin was generated from the expansion of two balloons which were placed inside their heads during the first surgery in August,”

The huge operation, their second had to be brought forward after Jaga’s health deteriorated in recent months.

The boys who were originally named Honey and Singh have survived against the odds as twins fused at the cranium have an 80 per cent risk of dying by the age of two if they are not separated.

Odisha health minister Pratap Jena said: ‘Their health is stable, but they will be kept under observation for 72 hours.

Plastic surgeons are on their job after they were separated surgically.’

South Korea develops 'blackout bombs' that can take down Pyongyang without firing a shot

A South Korean Hyunmoo II ballistic missile is fired last month

The South Korean military is developing a new weapon to fight North Korea's growing nuclear capabilities.

Seoul's Agency for Defense Development (ADD) has acquired the technology to build graphite bombs, non-lethal weapons that can take down North Korea's power system in case of a war, according to military sources who spoke to South Korea's news agency Yonhap on Sunday.

“All technologies for the development of a graphite bomb led by the ADD have been secured,” a military official said. “It is in the stage where we can build the bombs anytime.”

Known as “blackout bombs,” the warheads can be dropped by a plane over power stations. A form of cluster bombs, they split into several canister-like “sub-munitions,” which in turn release carbon graphite filaments that short-circuit the electricity supplies.

The bombs were first used by the U.S. Navy in 1991 to black out power supply in Iraq during the first Gulf War. They were later also deployed against Serbia during the Balkan conflict in 1999.

After their use in Kosovo, NATO spokesperson Jamie Shea said that the bomb's impact is mostly psychological, as the targeted country feels literally and figuratively powerless. “We can turn the power off whenever we need to and whenever we want to,” Shea told the BBC at the time.

South Korea is adding the weapons to its arsenal as part of one of its recently-developed military programs, the so-called “Kill Chain,” which aims to detect an imminent missile attack from the North and react with a pre-emptive strike.

As reported by the Korea Times in 2016, the arms build-up also includes the Korea Air and Missile Defense Program, tasked with tracking and shooting down nuclear missiles heading for South Korea, and an initiative known as the Korean Massive Punishment and Retaliation system, which would first strike back against a North Korean attack.

Originally due for completion in the mid-2020s, South Korea has sped up the program's timeline to face North Korea's rapidly advancing nuclear weapons development program.

Monitoring groups such as the Nuclear Threat Initiative recorded Pyongyang conducting 19 missile tests this year alone, including two intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of reaching the U.S. mainland . North Korea also tested a hydrogen bomb in its sixth —and most powerful—nuclear test to date.

The South Korean military says there are no signs of an imminent threat.

“We have yet to detect any signs of immediate provocations from North Korea,” a South Korean military source said on Monday, quoted in Yonhap , adding: “We are maintaining an upgraded monitoring effort to guard against any developments.”

Chester Bennington Bought A $2.5m Home A Month Before He Committed Suicide

Family and friends of Linkin Park's lead singer Chester Bennington are still shocked over his suicide because he didn't seem depressed or going through mental health issues before he killed himself. More puzling is that he bought his new family home just one month ago. Read the TMZ report below..

The Linkin Park frontman bought the Palos Verdes Estates house for $2.5 million back in June. The 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom house is in an affluent part of L.A. County famous for pristine neighborhoods and an excellent public school system.
Everything about the 3,956 square foot pad says family home -- special nook perfect for game night, 3 outdoor decks, an expansive backyard with a spa and swimming pool.
The purchase falls in line with what Chester's LP bandmates said -- that he'd spoken excitedly about future plans. Buying the perfect place for his family, but then taking his life there a month later just doesn't add up.
The Benningtons closed on the house 8 days after Chris Cornell's suicide ... leading some close friends to believe Chester's suicide decision was sudden and fueled by his grief.
His death investigation has also turned up no obvious signs of drug use ... TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell us investigators found no illegal drugs or prescription drugs while searching the home following Chester's suicide. As we reported ... there was a partially drunk bottle of alcohol in the bedroom where he was found hanging.
The Linkin Park frontman was open about his drug abuse issues -- acid, meth, crack and more. His bandmates were well aware of his demons, and he credited his bandmates for staging an intervention.
It's unclear if Chester had any drugs in his system at the time of death.Toxicology results are pending.

Teenagers surrounded a 14-year-old Muslim schoolgirl and chant "ISIS" at her in presence of teachers

An innocent teenage Muslim schoolgirl was the victim of a hate crime as she was being picked from school by her mother. The 14-year-old girl, who will not be named for security reasons, was cornered by fellow students in the presence of her mother while teachers looked on.

The teenage mob taunted her and asked what she was doing on the night of the Manchester Arena bombing. They then began abusing her verbally while chanting "ISIS" at her.

The sad incident was captured on mobile phone camera by her mother Farrah Aftab. The footage shows a large crowd of pupils gathering near the car outside the 1,300 pupil Priestnall School in Stockport, Greater Manchester, while teachers stood nearby. The teenager was also compared to a child branded the 'girl no-one likes', who appeared in a documentary Educating Yorkshire.

Mrs Aftab has since pulled her daughter from school citing fears for her safety. The 37-year-old mental health worker from Heaton Chapel, said her daughter has been a target since she was in year seven and is constantly made to feel that she has no friends and that no one likes her.

She said: "The children have said to her that she is like the young Muslim girl in educating Yorkshire, who struggled to make friends. It's like they're reminding her that no one likes her and it is just unfair. They have called her ISIS and asked her where she was on the night of the Manchester Bombings. It has always been bad but with things that have been going on it has been getting worse. It is racism and bullying and the school don't seem to be doing anything about it. I am terrified as to what would have happened if we hadn't gone to get her and if she hadn't got in the car. I've reported this to the police, local MP and the council and the governors of the school.

She added: "On Thursday my husband and I had gone to pick her up from school, sat in car, and before you know it girls and boys are surrounding the car peeping in back windows where she's sat. She and I was saying go away but the girls hurling abuse at her and shouting ISIS, saying they would break her nose, calling her ugly, saying you watch what happens now. My daughter got out car go to speak to a teacher and she was saying: 'this is what I have got to put up with - I don't come to school for this', but the teachers seemed more concerned with me putting my phone away.

"It seems like she is being punished for being a victim of bullying. We come from a mixed race background as a family and we were raised that we are all equal. What ISIS do has nothing to do with us being Muslims. I have taught my children that if that conversation comes up you do not engage in that conversation its nothing to do with us. Sometimes you think they're just kids and kids can be kids but when its happening in front of you with a teacher watching and they say I don't wish to speak to you is disgusting. I'm afraid I just don't trust the teachers with my children now - they have breached duty of care."

Greater Manchester Police have been informed of the incident and are currently investigating.

They said: "We are looking into the incident and officers are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward."

Watch terrifying moment flood washed away a 5-story building in China

Apparently, Nigeria is not the only country experiencing floods. China has been hit too and it's even worse. A very terrifying footage has been shared showing a 5-story building in Tibet, China being washed away by the flood. A heavy red truck abandoned by its driver was also washed away.

Heavy rain in Tibet has eroded foundations, including that of a five-storey apartment block. The moment the building toppled into a surging river was caught on camera. Luckily, all occupants of the building were evacuated long before the collapse. According to reports Tibet's Changdu City has been hard hit, with the local Ziqu River eroding its banks and bursting out over surrounding terrain at the weekend. The river, held back in part by a bridge, gradually ate away the soil away beneath the yellow waterfront structure before moving to erode the foundation of the building.

China Central Television says the region’s heavy rains have washed away more than 57km of roads, damaged 24 bridges and cut power lines. Authorities said yesterday that floods and landslides have also killed scores of people in China’s central Hunan province as two weeks of torrential rains forced 1.6 million to flee. About 53,000 homes have collapsed while nearly 350,000 others were seriously or partially damaged after 11 straight days of rain, according to Tang Biyu, deputy director of Hunan’s civil affairs department.

Newborn baby to be registered 'gender unknown' because its mum insists only the child can decide what sex it wants to be

A parent is demanding that their baby should be the world's first child to be registered as "gender unknown" on its birth certificate. Kori Doty, who identifies as a "non-binary trans person", is insisting that Canadian authorities issue a non-gendered birth certificate for their 8-month-old child.

As a non-binary trans person, Doty, who has a moustache, claims to be neither male nor female and wants the same for baby Searyl Atli who was born last November.  Doty prefers to be referred to as "they" rather than “he” or “she” and told CBC they are raising Searyl in the same way "until they have the sense of self and command of vocabulary to tell me who they are.”

Doty added: “I’m recognising them as a baby and trying to give them all the love and support to be the most whole person that they can be outside of the restrictions that come with the boy box and the girl box.”

Baby Saeryl already has health cards issued with the gender specified as "undetermined", but in spite of Doty's efforts to get British Columbia to issue the child with a birth certificate that has no gender specification, authorities have refused to grant that.
Doty said: “When I was born, doctors looked at my genitals and made assumptions about who I would be, and those assignments followed me and followed my identification throughout my life. Those assumptions were incorrect, and I ended up having to do a lot of adjustments since then.”

Doty’s lawyer says British Columbia only issues birth documents which have a male or female designation. The British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal is helping Doty fight to get all government documents to accommodate non-gendered people. Another Canadian province, Ontario, says it is reviewing its policies to include non-binary genders, however, critics claim such children could become a target for bullies or discrimination.

Burn survivor shows off his bulge in Calvin Klein underwear

American burn survivor, Kendawg, 29, showed off his eggplant while posing in just a pair of Calvin Klein briefs. He posted the photo on his Instagram page and wrote:

"My mind Has Been Contemplating For a Few Days Now And I’ve decided to do a Calvin Klein Photo Shoot For Myself And Set a platform for people that feels low self-esteem when I comes to society...physically. I Did This suit Because I Want to be Able to Look Back at my Life Once I Get Older And Say, “yo I can’t believe I did something like that..” and to think about it it’s like if you don’t do nothing that is out rages or spontaneous it’s like you’re a nobody, ya know? And I Feel Like People Are Going to reminisce This and That And Say, “y’all remember Kendawg that did that half-naked photoshoot for @calvinklein? Dude got a lot of courage and confidence do to something like that!!” Now, watch the haters hate because to think about it if I wasn’t a burn survivor they will still be talking crap #warriorsalwaysprevail #calvinklein #confidence"
Ken was 3 yrs old when he was in a severe fire accident with his grandfather, that burned 85% of his body and left him disfigured for life.
" All I remember was me playing with my toys and watching TV while my grandpa was sleeping on the living room couch. When All of the sudden I heard this big explosion or somebody must have thrown something at the living room window because flames started to flair up. I woke up my grandpa to let him know that our apartment was on fire and at the same time I was in disbelief because I didn't want anything happen to me nor my grandfather. I was so scared that I didn't know what to do so I'd panicked, I was crying, yelling and screaming for help. I didn't know how to unlock doors at the time because I was trying to get out the apartment from the front door and as I can see my grandfather was dying from the smoke inhalation. I was thinking about calling the ambulance and just trying to prevail out of something that was hard, but me being a baby I'd didn't know how to work those kind of things. at least I did try to do what I had to do which was getting out the apartment the best way I can. My grandfather had a solution and the best way for me to get out the burning apartment was through the window where the fire was coming from. I had no choice but to go through the fire in order for me to live. As I was being carried over the window, the fire burned almost everything that was on me including my shirt, pants and my skin complexion and everything. Heroically my grandfather helped me make it out, but I was left with scars and messed image of myself. After the ambulance came my grandfather was announced dead.  After everything that has happened to me I have been living with my grandmother what a test 26 years,  and she has been my guardian angel forever.  My grandmother was the type of person to be very overprotective and have my back from many situations that I have been in.   So I want to see if a lot of you people can help me with the money issue that I have because I'm trying to be able to be strong and  get a place to stay that myself.  I done had numerous of operation on me and it's been a while since I have my last operation but I want some more because I want to be able to function with my hands and fingers. So I created a go fund me account so people can donate some money for me so I can go through my surgery process in order for me to function better. I get ridiculed about about my looks a lot because people just see me as a burn survivor; The outside of my skin, but they have no idea how I am on the inside which really matters, and problems like that hurts me. I stress a lot and get depressed too…I know I probably shouldn't tell people that because they can use that I barely get along with family members because ever since I was little they always treated me like an outsider and like I am a six grader which makes me don’t vibe with certain family members at all. I never had friends come over and kick it with me, none of my peers never invited me or asked me to go out of town with them at all because they think that I'm not able to do nothing or I'm worthless and my little cousin used to treat me like that. That's why I kinda hold this animosity towards certain people. Don't get me wrong I am a nice person but don't think for second that I am simpleminded or naïve. If my hands wasn't this deformed I could probably do way more than what people think I can. And I really have people that hate on me.  So can you people please help me get where I want to be because it seems like all I have is myself. Thank you for your time and I really appreciate y'all. With or without the surgery I'll be ok. I've been doing it already for 30 years. The surgery is just a desire because I know I could do a lot more with working fingers. Really I'm just thankful for still being able to be here to live my life because the opposite of me asking is not being able to ask because I wouldn't be here. Thanks everyone for your support."

The dramatic moment an angry elephant overturns a car and goes on a rampage at a festival in India

A dramatic video shows an angry elephant acting out its frustration by overturning a car with its trunk. The aggressive elephant disrupted a local festival called Ambalapura that was taking place in Thrissur, Kerela in Southern India and went on a rampage, destroying things.
The elephant was appearing at the festival with its owner but during the celebration, the owner lost control of the elephant. The weather was hot and the crowd at the festival were noisy, as is expected at such big ceremonies, and it is believed these may have factored in getting the animal upset.
In the video, the animal can be seen towering over the car, before lifting it with its trunk and sending it tumbling across the ground. It also did the same with the motorcycles parked close by.

Frightened villagers fled the scene and luckily, no one was hurt.

Adding that the joke he told Thursday to the Glastonbury Festival crowd was in poor taste. The statement partially read:

“It did not come out as intended, and I intended no malice". "I was only trying to amuse, not to harm anyone.” Depp had joked, "When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?"
