A Year After Taiwo Oshadipe’s Death, Twin Sister Organises Remembrance Walk (PHOTOS)
One year after the death of Taiwo Oshadipe, one of the singing duo the Oshadipe twins, her twin sister Kehinde Oshadipe has set up a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in loving memory of her sister.
Kehinde started the NGO in order to bring awareness to people suffering from the ailment that claimed her sister’s life at a young age.
On Sunday, October 3, Kehinde organized an awareness walk titled “#WalkAgainstLupus”. She disclosed that this walk is aimed at creating an awareness about the deadly disease and also to improve the quality of life of all those affected by lupus.
She said ”This past Sat October 3rd made it a year my sister left this sinful world and in honor of her and humanity, I launched an NGO called (TOTI) The Oshadipetwins Initiative For Lupus on May 3rd 2015.”
Adding that “Lupus is the terrible disease the docs reported took her. I gathered a few friends and celebrities and we marched to The Ministry of Health, Alausa Ikeja in a #WalkAgainstLupus.”
The walk had in attendance Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar, gospel artist Nikki Laoye and other friends from the media.
