Izeze congratulates Okowa on Tribunal victory
...Calls on opponents to accept verdict
ASABA- MAJORITY WHIP of the Delta State House of Assembly and Member representing Ughelli South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Barrister Reuben Rume Izeze has congratulated Delta State Governor Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa on his victory at the Delta State Gubernatorial Elections Petitions Tribunal.
Hon. Izeze in a congratulatory message said the ruling of the Tribunal is a reflection of the wishes of Deltans who came out massively to vote for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and the PDP in the April 11 Governorship Election in the State while urging the Governor's opponents to be magnanimous in defeat and accept the verdict of the Tribunal as a true reflection of the wishes of majority of Deltans who came out in their numbers to chose their Governor.
The lawmaker further enjoined the Governor's opponents particularly Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru of the Labour Party and Olorogun Otega Emerhor of the All Progressives Congress to join hands with the Governor to build a new and prosperous Delta State.
Hon Izeze while giving all the glory to God, who orders the steps and fate of men said the Governor and the PDP deserved to win having campaigned vigorously across the state to showcase his SMART Agenda for the state.
