100 days: Okowa initiated life changing projects

Special Project Director  in Delta State Governor’s Office in charge of Ughelli/Asaba Road, Chief Sunny Onuesoke, has described the achievements of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa  in 100 days  in office as excellent and credible.

Onuesoke, who made the commendation while addressing journalists in his office in  Asaba,  recalled that Okowa,  on  assumption of office, came hitting the ground running as he presented four bills to the state House of Assembly and declared a near emergency so as to give face lift to Asaba. Within the period of his 100 days in office, according to Onuesoke, Okowa has initiated “life changing projects” which will certainly impact positively on the lives of the entire people of the state for a long time to come, adding that the Youth Agricultural Entrepreneurship Programme, YAGEP, and Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Program, STEP, are amongst the projects driven by the governor to ensure that  prosperity takes the place of poverty in Delta.

Onuesoke pointed out that Okowa also  recorded great achievements in the choice of those he appointed as executive members, aides and the reconstitution of the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, adding that  the personalities he appointed had shown that he is a visionary leader that would take Delta  to the land “flowing with milk and honey”.
