Urhobo Youths Agitators for Development,UYAD, has commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State for appointing Chief Sunny Onuesoke, a former PDP governorship aspirant as special project director, Governor’s Office, Asaba, saying the appointment was the best for the Urhobo nation.
The group said so far the governor’s appointments had cut across ethnic, zone and religious lines.
Speaking on the appointment, UYAD President, Comrade Kesiena Ejirigho appealed to the Urhobo to give the governor their total support to enable him provide dividends of democracy to the people.
Ejirigho said Sunny Onuesoke was one politician who had distinguished himself considering what he had done personally for the people of the state. According to Ejirigho, Onuesoke had through his Foundation shown love to the people through education for the children and the restoration of the environment through projects that challenge climate change in the area.
