Declare Osun Bailout Amount – PDP Tells Aregbesola
The Osun State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party has asked Governor Rauf Aregbesola to declare to the people of the state how much his administration is seeking to get from the bailout package approved for states by the Federal Government.
The Osun PDP Chairman, Alhaji Gani Olaoluwa, said this in a statement in Osogbo, the state capital on Monday.
Olaoluwa accused Aregbesola of failing to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of the state unlike what was obtainable in other All Progressives Congress-led states.
The statement read, “Aregbesola should face governance and be accountable because he has plunged the state into untold hardship.
“Aregbesola should come out and tell us how much he wants to take from the bailout loan stressing that he should be ready to tell us how much he will collect, how he intends spending it and on what.
“Aregbesola should also not blame the opposition for falling but to accept the misfortune he has brought to Osun state”.
