A man was arrested on a charge of contempt of court after allegedly liking the Facebook photos of his former girlfriend despite having a restraining order, police in Pennsylvania said. Pittston police said that they have arrested 26-year-old Justin Bellanco, after being accused of liking the photos of 24-year-old April Holland.
Bellanco of South Main Street, was charged with one count of contempt of court. He was booked into jail and released after posting $5,000 bail.
According to the police investigation, Bellanco liked 22 photos and videos on the Facebook page belonging to Holland. Holland obtained an order of protection against Bellanco, claiming that he had been stalking and harassing her. He also allegedly threatened to shoot her.
Bellanco is prohibited from having any contact with Holland for one year. Bellanco also had a restraining order against Holland. According to a complaint, she choked him during a domestic dispute. However, the restraining order expired earlier this year.
