OWA-NTA IDUMU-ETOR CHIEFS PLEDGE SOLIDARITY AND SUPPORT FOR SEN. OKOWA'S GOVERNORSHIP AMBITION

 The chiefs of Owa- Nta Idumu-Etor communities, comprising the Ali-Okwue, Ali-Edie and Alisimi in Ika Northeast Local Government Area, led by Chief Paulson Odita, the Onyekuihienwemene of Owa kingdom have during their enlarged meeting held on Sunday 1st March, 2015 at the Boji-Boji Owa residence of its member, Chief Raphael Obianke along Raphael Obianke Street Boji-Boji Owa, pledged their solidarity and support for the candidacy of Senator (Dr). Ifeanyi Okowa, the Delta State Government flag- bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as his gubernatorial election comes in April 11 2015.
 The highly respected traditional chiefs in their resolution, noted that they and members of ward 5, Owa-Nta Idumu-Etor will support the governorship bid of their highly respected distinguished Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa and cast their votes massively for him to enable him emerge victorious in the general election.
In a communiqué issued after the meeting, the secretary to the Chiefs, Chief Nwachukwu Egwu, the Oghorieze of Owa kingdom, and who also represented ward -5 in the council, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), highlighted numerous achievements of Senator Okowa as the maiden chairman of Ika North East Local Government Council, three time commissioner in different ministries, Secretary to Delta State Government (SSG) and a distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Chief Egwu, noted that Senator Okowa has been benevolent to Owa-Nta Idumu- Etor indigenes and there fore he deserves their full support. He said that they have high expectations from Senator Okowa as a governor in the areas of providing accessible roads, Over-coming the terrible erosion divastation especially Owa- Nta Okwue axis and providing jobs for the teeming youths of the communities.
Other Chiefs of the community present at the meeting include, Chief Raphael Obianke, the Onyechukwu-kwadon of Owa kingdom, Chief Nduka Ikehi, the Ogunamami of Owa kingdom, Chief Joel Okoh, the Onye-Oghani of Owa kingdom, Chief Samson Osondu, the Okwadiken of Owa kingdom, Chief Brendon I. Ukwute, the Olotor of Owa kingdom, and Chief Felix Obiazikwor, the Ojomor of Owa kingdom.
