BREAKING: President Buhari Fires 17 Permanent Secretaries
Reports just reaching us indicates that President Muhammadu Buhari has laid off 17 permanent secretaries today, November 9.
According to Sahara Reporters, the senior civil servants were given the boot today after a meeting with President Buhari, the chief of staff to the president, Abba Kyari and the head of civil service of the federation, Mrs Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita.
The rumours about the imminent sack of the permanent secretaries has been circulating in the media for a while now.
Today’s decision is coming 24 hours before the swearing in of the president’s cabinet tomorrow.
