Hon Victor Nwokolo, the Ika Federal Constituency PDP flag bearer for the National Assembly in the March 28 general elections is a man of immense great vision with the interest of the downtrodden at heart..
For almost four years he's been in the Green Chambers of the National Assembly, Abuja, the erudite gentleman has not relented in putting his vision to bear as the voice of the people he represents.
He has demonstrated that the supreme quality for effective representation is unquestionably to speak on behalf of the people and channel their problems to the government for solutions by pushing through and making laws that will impart positively on their lives.
This, he has done so well as the vocal cord of the Ika people on the floor of the House, where he has delivered and dealt with tough issues affecting his people compassionately, placing him on high pedestal of acceptability in their eyes and minds.
Little wonder the rain of endorsements and acceptance across the two Local Government Areas that make up the Ika Nation. The truth is that it is the settled will of the majority of the Ika people that they want not just a leader but a humble and resourceful leader of substance with vast legislative experience, endowment and potential to be a voice for them at the national level.
Apart from his legislative duty as a Law maker, Hon. Victor Nwokolo in no small measures has touched the lives of many youths through grants and scholarship for students, financial support for widows and the aged and fertilizers to farmers through his regular constituency meetings and empowerment programmes. Many communities have also benefited from his recent supply of transformers to boost electricity.
Even the physically challenged are not left out. Many of them have been engaged to wealth-creating skills to prove that there's ability in disability. It goes on and on.
All these added to his already enviable score card and pedigree that has distinguished him from many others in the race with little or nothing to offer the Ika people.
Hon. Victor Nwokolo is truly a voice for the Ika people who are confident and certain beyond measure that he will do more and speak for them again, even better on his second journey to the Federal House of representatives, Abuja.
