I Am A S*x Addict – Maheeda Opens Up

In this Interview with theNetng, Maheeda opens up on growing up, having a baby at 17 and being an orphan.

On s*x

A lot… I’m addicted to s*x, and I have to have s*x everyday. At least once everyday, and if there’s no guy around me, I’ll help myself by self servicing. I have a lot of s*xtoys; in fact, I’m a regular customer. It’s like food to me, and you have to eat. It is very healthy and it gives you the right curves and my body is used to it. Yes! Sometimes I just squirt, like when am having s*x, and because I am used to it and my body needs it. On her recent trip to Europe It was for business. I went for a birthday party of one big shot and all I needed to do was just sit down and cross my legs and then I got money in my account, which was pretty cool. No. I just sat down, sipped some champagne and made some money. I just went to cross my legs and made $3000. It was just an appearance. Isn’t that cool? Because they want to see that raunchy chick.

On her pregnancy

I got pregnant for my boyfriend about 13 years ago when I was just 17, in Kano. I think his family was tribalist because they didn’t want me around, so they offered me N2million, which was a lot of money back then, to leave the baby and go. I actually wanted to accept the money but I thought to myself, ‘Hey, you’re an orphan and this is the only blood you have.’ So, I left the money and decided to leave with my daughter Because I was very hungry and I was coming from a very poor background. My mum and dad weren’t there. I was 14, living in the streets, where he met me, housed, and then I eventually got pregnant for him when I was 17. Ever since then it has been just me and, besides, I don’t want to ask anything because I know they wanted the child and not me, and I can’t afford to lose her. She’s the only thing that I have.

Growing up

I never met my dad, but I knew my mum for a while, and then she died and that’s all? I don’t even know any one of my relatives. My childhood was very lonely. I was always missing this family relationship, which I think is still affecting me till today. I don’t know what love is but I think my daughter and my man are beginning to teach me.

A very nice woman took care of me after my mum died when I was 14. Before her, there was a Muslim woman taking care of me, because my mum was always dumping me with different people whenever she was going out to hustle. Two years with one person, a year with another person. It was just like that. I didn’t have a normal life, and don’t know if I still have one. The Muslim woman taught me how to pray like them. I attended Islamic lessons and learnt the recitation.

On Marriage

When I met my husband, he said he would support my career and that is what has kept me going till date. We have been married for Two years, but we’ve been dating for about 10 years On the Nigerian mentality The Nigerian mentality is very low. It made me look like a fool the first time I went to Europe. The way we see things, especially seeing s*x as evil and not even talking about it even though we desire it. Some people think I’m already possessed, but that’s not it. We are not taught honour and there’s just a lot we don’t know.

Jonathan suspends Sanusi as CBN gov

CBN Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi

President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday suspended Mallam  Lamido Sanusi as the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. The suspension order was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati.

Abati said Jonathan had found out that Sanusi’s tenure as the CBN governor has been characterised by acts of financial recklessness and misconduct which are inconsistent with his administration’s vision.

He named a Deputy Governor of the CBN, Dr. Sarah Alade, as the acting governor. He said Alade would remain in charge until the conclusion of ongoing investigations into breaches of enabling laws, due process and mandate of  the CBN.

The statement read, “Having taken special notice of reports of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria and other investigating bodies, which indicate clearly that Mallam Sanusi Lamido  Sanusi’s tenure has been characterized by various acts of financial recklessness and misconduct which are inconsistent with the administration’s vision of a Central Bank propelled by the core values of focused economic management, prudence, transparency and financial discipline.

“Being also deeply concerned about far-reaching irregularities  under Mallam Sanusi’s watch which have distracted the Central Bank away from the pursuit and achievement of its statutory mandate; and “Being determined to urgently re-position the Central Bank of Nigeria for greater efficiency, respect for due process and accountability, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has ordered the immediate suspension of Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi from the Office of Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

“President Jonathan has further ordered that Mallam Sanusi should hand over to the most senior Deputy Governor of the CBN, Dr Sarah Alade who will serve as Acting Governor until the conclusion of on-going investigations into breaches of enabling laws, due process and mandate of the CBN.

“The President expects that as Acting Governor of the Central Bank, Dr. Alade will focus on the core mandate of the Bank and conduct its affairs with greater professionalism, prudence and propriety to restore domestic and international confidence in the country’s apex bank.

“The Federal Government of Nigeria reassures all stakeholders in Nigeria’s financial and monetary system that this decision has been taken in absolute good faith, in the overall interest of the Nigerian economy and in accordance with our laws and due process.”

Nollywood stars under fire over visit to Jonathan

Hollywood stars

Nollywood actors and actresses, under the aegis of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, have come under heavy criticisms for their visit to President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday.

A delegation of the AGN, led by its National President, Ibinabo Fiberesima, had, during the visit to the Presidential Villa, conferred on Jonathan the award of the Grand Patron of their association.

On the delegation were Mercy Aigbe, Chidi Mokeme, Monalisa Chinda, Stephanie Linus, Fred Amata, Joseph Benjamin, Desmond Elliot, and Victor Osuagwu, among others.

During the visit, Presidential Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, was busy posting pictures of the actors and actresses who were seen applauding Jonathan while they beamed with smiles.

But the visit and subsequent conferment of the Grand Patron on Jonathan has drawn the ire of some Nigerians who describe it as an embarrassment to the masses who patronise their movies.

Fans of many of the Nollywood stars accused them of falling out of tune with the yearnings of the masses by celebrating what they call mediocrity and government ineptitude with their visit.

The concerned Nigerians, who dropped comments on blogs and various online platforms, said they were shocked to learn of the visit.

They said the visit would have been worth it if it had led to a frank talk with the President on the massacres in the North Eastern region, corruption and state of underdevelopment.

An enraged visitor on stelladimokokorkus.com, Jay Moore, described the Nollywood stars as “sellouts” and “clowns.”

Moore said, “They are clowns, as no right thinking person familiar with the current Nigerian situation in the last four years will make such  a visit. I am surprised. Nigerian youths are the future of this country and the Nollywood people should please stop being sellouts. GEJ is a non-performing leader.

“They should join other Nigerians in saying, ‘No’ to the suffering; our countrymen and women should not be made to face more years of epileptic power supply, insecurity and high youth unemployment.”

An anonymous reader on lindaikeji.blogspot.com described the visit as a subtle way of endorsing the President for a second term in office. He is of the opinion that they should have asked the President to be more transparent in his administration.

“Look at all of them… They are a bunch of ingrates. They’ve never come out to stand for the poor masses or challenge the President about the missing $20bn oil revenue, which has yet to be remitted into the Federation Account. But they all went, knowing it was an avenue to line their pockets. Then in 2015, GEJ would use that as a reference point when campaigning for re-election. A bunch of funny actors and actresses,” the reader added.

Another reader of the blog, with the name Samorano, wrote, “They are unwise. They are supposed to be the weapon that will fight the corrupt government but, unfortunately, they are fast becoming part of the bad eggs that we have in this country. I see these actors and actresses as covetous individuals.”

On Twitter, Idris Ogunbadejo, who described the visit as a “charade,” said only hungry individuals would attempt to redefine governance for selfish reasons.

“The charade has started. Some beasts in human skins will soon re-define good governance, leadership and accountability! Hungry individuals,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, a former presidential candidate of the National Conscience Party, Dele Momodu, has said he expects more self-serving groups to pay solidarity visits to the President as the 2015 general elections draw near.

In a Twitter post, he wrote, “As President Jonathan receives the Actors Guild of Nigeria today, many more associations are expected to take their turn.”

Another Twitter user, Maryam Abubakar, also took a swipe at the group, saying their visit amounted to “shame.”

She also berated Abati for inundating the Twittersphere with pictures of the visit amidst renewed killings of dozens of Nigerians in the North Eastern part of the country.

In a series of tweets, she wrote, “You, Dr. Abati, should also be ashamed of posting these pictures at a sensitive time like this, with hundreds of people being killed! It is painful!  Not a word from the Presidency about what happened in Borno and Adamawa states. But the President is posing for cameras all over.

“Twenty girls abducted, over 100 people killed. Yet, no word from our President. Just photos of him smiling from one camera to the other. Jonathan makes it so difficult for people to like or even respect him. How insensitive can a President be?”

I’m glad he had accident after raping me –12-year-old rape victim

I’m-glad-he-had-accident-after-raping-me-360x225

In the emergency ward of the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, Lagos, 21-year-old Oye Adeleke was lying on a bed like every other patient who had suffered different degrees of fracture to their limbs from accidents.

But Adeleke’s case is peculiar. In fact, the story behind how he landed in the hospital had circulated around the ward. Some of those who were discussing the issue when our correspondent visited him, used the word “karma” to describe his fate.

On January 18, 2014, Adeleke, who is an apprentice meat seller at Tinubu Market in Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos, allegedly added his name to a long list of sexual predators walking the streets of Lagos.

That day, which would change the life of 12-year-old Bisola (not real name) forever, was when Adeleke ambushed the young girl and raped her for one hour.

When our correspondent visited the ailing girl at her parent’s home in Gowon Estate, Ipaja area of Lagos, she gave a sordid detail of her ordeal at the hands of Adeleke, which later landed her in the surgical ward of the Igando General Hospital.

Adeleke was eventually arrested but in his attempt to escape from the police custody, he was hit by a moving vehicle when he ran across the road.

Adeleke’s boss supplies meat to Bisola’s mother, a food vendor. It was learnt that the suspect had on occasions delivered meat to the girl’s mother.

Bisola, a shy girl, who looked at her toes as she spoke, said, “I followed a friend to buy sugar in the market (she sells sugar to assist her family) and when I was coming, he (Adeleke) told me to follow him to their shop to collect meat for my mother. I followed him but I did not enter the shop.

“There was nobody else around. It was after 7pm. He told me to enter but I said he should bring out the meat. He then said I should take the meat from the freezer. As I attempted to open the freezer, he grabbed me and tied a cloth over my face and mouth.

“He held me down and pulled off my pants. He did not leave me until around 8.30pm. I could not shout. The place was dark.”

The girl paused, her eyes moist with tears as she narrated the story. “I am happy a vehicle hit him,” she said.

Each word spoken by Bisola seemed to come out with tremendous pain. It was clear the girl would rather not remember the detail of the experience her young body and mind had been put through.

Bisola was raped for an hour by her estimation.  She said she remembered the time Adeleke finally released her because she had to look at the clock on the wall of the shop because she knew her mother would have been looking for her.

The young girl rushed out of her captor’s embrace bleeding and bruised.  But shame and confusion would not allow her to go straight to her mother.

Her mother told Newsmen that she had expected her to return but when she did not, she retired to bed, thinking that her daughter must have stayed late in her friend’s house.

“I heard her enter the house later. But around 3am, she started to sob loudly,” she said.

Both mother and daughter live in a small decrepit wooden shack around Gowon Estate.

When the woman went to check on her daughter, she noticed her underwear was soaked in blood. which had started running down her legs.

She was about to scream but quickly changed her mind because she was afraid of alerting her husband, Bisola’s step-father, to what had happened.

“But by morning, I could not hide it anymore. She told me the person responsible for it and around 5am, we went to report at the Gowon Estate Police Division, Ipaja. The man was later arrested,” the woman said.

Bisola was taken to the hospital and a doctor who examined her immediately recommended surgery to repair her damaged private part. After the surgery, she was on admission for two days.

The doctor’s report obtained by our correspondent indicated that she was brought to the hospital “bleeding profusely from second degree laceration in her private part and broken hymen.”

But a day after the young man was arrested, he was released by the police.

Director of the Esther Child Rights Foundation, Mrs. Esther Ogwu, said she intervened in the matter when the victim’s step brother reported the incident to her.

She told Newsmen, “It was really absurd that he would be released that way. I could not believe that in the face of the increasing child abuse and molestation being reported every day, the police could still release a suspect without promptly charging him to court.

“The girl was raped on a Saturday; by Monday, the man was arrested. But by Wednesday, the family said they went to the police station and were informed by the investigating police officer that he had been released.

“I informed the Lagos Public Advice Centre of the development and officials of the centre contacted the police division. The IPO was forced to rearrest the boy. I just wonder if the police have heard of the Child Rights Act.”

One of the reasons for enacting the Child Rights Act in 2003 is to stem the tide of child abuse and molestation in Nigeria and reinforce the legal provision against it.

Adeleke was rearrested and locked up preparatory to his transfer to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba.

But the suspect had a different idea. He decided to escape. As soon as the IPO turned her back, Adeleke ran out of the station and was about to cross the road when he was hit by a commercial bus.

Of course, the bus did not stop, as he would later tell our correspondent in the hospital.

An OP Mesa military team, who saw him injured on the road took him to the hospital.

Asked why he decided to escape, he said, “I was just afraid. I did not know that it would become such a serious matter.”

But when he was asked why he raped the girl when he could have paid to sleep with a commercial sex worker, he said he did not rape her.

“I did not rape her sir. She is my girlfriend. We have been dating since early last year. She always called me ‘okobo’ (a Yoruba word for eunuch),” he said.

Bisola’s mother would later refute this claim as a concocted story because she only moved to Ipaja with her daughter in August 2013.

Adeleke disputed that Bisola is just 12 years old which makes her a minor.

He said Bisola had told him that she was 18 years old. But when our correspondent met the girl, there was nothing to indicate that a man could be fooled into thinking she could even be up to 15 years old.

The suspect said, “That day, I went to buy fuel and she followed me. When I returned home, I told her to leave but she would not. She was tickling me and calling me okobo.

“I told her to leave and I saw her off but she came back and started tickling me again. I then decided to do it. But when I pulled off her underwear and realised she was still a virgin, I decided to leave her but she started taunting me again. Then I did it. I did not know that she would bleed like that and that it would become a police matter.”

When asked why she blindfolded and muffled the girl’s mouth with a piece of cloth, Adeleke denied doing that.

The young man, who said he was an indigene of Abeokuta, only finished primary school.

We  learnt that since Adeleke got to the hospital, his relations had not come to pay for his treatment. The hospital is planning to discharge him prematurely. It was learnt that his treatment had been stopped.

But there is fear that Adeleke might escape if discharged as the IPO had only visited the suspect once.

Adeleke said his mother was late but added that his brother and boss were looking for money to offset his medical bills.

Meanwhile, Bisola’s mother and step-father have changed course on the case.

When our correspondent visited them on Sunday, the step-father, who did not hide his anger, said he had no money to prosecute the suspect.

“They should release him. I don’t have any money to move around to prosecute anybody. We have spent enough money already. Nobody should come and disturb me again,” he said.

Bisola’s step-father, who did not seem to be literate, was told that prosecuting Adeleke was not his job but that of the police and that he did not have to spend money.

“What about moving here and there when the police call us or when we need to go to court? The man himself is poor. It is not worth it,” he said.

Bisola’s mother, who seemed helpless in the face of her husband’s attitude, also concurred.

“We spent money on her treatment; we have even incurred debt. We will leave the matter to God,” she said.

Child sexual abuse in Nigeria is on the rise but there seems to be no dedication on the part of the police to ensure proper prosecution.

The IPO in this case, a policewoman named Patricia, promptly directed our correspondent to her boss, the divisional police officer, when contacted on the case.

When our correspondent contacted the Divisional Police Officer of Gowon Estate, Mr. Segun Titiladunayo, he said he had not got any report that the hospital was preparing to discharge the suspect.

“I am very grateful for this information. He might escape if he is discharged without our knowledge. I will draft my men there right now to ensure that he is not given the opportunity to escape,” he said.

Ogwu said it was unfortunate that the financial status of the families of victims prevents such victims from getting necessary care.

“For instance, in this case, the doctor’s report indicates that the girl should be brought back for HIV screening and Hepatitis B screening, but you can be sure that is not going to happen if we leave the matter in the hands of the parents. This is why we decided to get the government involved,” she said.

She had written a formal letter to the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation to take over the girl’s case.

N9bn contract scam: Court frees Bankole

former Speaker of the House, Dimeji Bankole
former Speaker of the House, Dimeji Bankole
An Abuja Federal High Court on Friday discharged and acquitted a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission could not  prove a 16-count criminal charge bordering on a N9bn contract scam filed against him.

Justice Evoh Chukwu, in a ruling on a no-case-submission filed by Bankole after the prosecution had called its witnesses, held that there was no evidence linking the former speaker to the alleged offences.

The EFCC had accused Bankole of perpetrating a contract fraud, involving the purchase of two Range Rover bulletproof vehicles; two Range Rover vehicles (without bullet proof); three Mercedes Benz S-600 cars; 400 units of DSTV systems; 400 television sets; 800 units of desktop computers; 100 units of Sharp digital copier; and 400 units of HP LaserJets 2600N.

The addresses presented by the companies which executed the contracts for the procurement of the items turned out to be false as well as other information provided in their profiles.

The anti-graft agency alleged that most of the purchases were contrary to Sections 17 to 56 of the Public Procurement Act No.14 of 2007, and punishable under Section 58(5) of the same Act.

With a private lawyer, Mr. Festus Keyamo, prosecuting the case, Bankole was arraigned over the 16-count charge, to which he pleaded not guilty.

However, the trial proceeded with the prosecution calling six witnesses, including officials  of the National Assembly, to testify.

After the prosecution had called its last witness, Bankole, through his lawyer, Mr. O. Akoni, SAN, filed an application for a no-case-submission, asking the court to acquit and discharge him on the grounds that the EFCC had not established a prima facie case against him.

Ruling on the no-case-submission on Friday, Justice Chukwu stressed that, in order to prove the case against the former Speaker, the EFCC must prove that the “accused person (Bankole) colluded with the supplier or contractor to supply at inflated prices.”

He held that the anti-graft agency was unable to prove such. The judge further noted that witnesses brought by the prosecution all admitted that Bankole was not the chief accounting officer of the House.

Justice Chukwu added that all the witnesses also admitted that the contract for the purchase of the controversial items followed due process.

He said, “All the witnesses told the court that the procedure for the award of the contract followed due process. None of them showed that the accused person entered into a collusive agreement with the contractors or their agents.

“The accused person does not own any of the companies,” he added, citing the testimony of some of the prosecution witnesses, who told the court that investigations did not disclose that Bankole was a shareholder, director or signatory to any of the companies that benefitted from the contract.

Continuing, the judge held that the prosecution did not provide any evidence to prove that Bankole benefitted from the contract.

“In the totality of the evidence of the prosecution, there is nothing to show that the accused person acted with intention to defraud – there is no evidence to show that he selected the companies that were awarded the contract.

“There is no evidence to show that any of the companies were fronting for the accused person.

“There is no evidence to show that the accused person was a director or a shareholder in any of the companies.”

On January 31, 2012, a Federal Capital Territory High Court headed by Justice S. B. Belgore, had freed Bankole and his former Deputy, Ibrahim Nafada, of a criminal charged involving an alleged mismanagement of N38m.

Muma Gee is pregnant

Muma Gee
Muma Gee
Singer, Gift Uwame, popularly known as Muma Gee is excited as she is undergoing a nine-month course. Saturday Beats reliably gathered that the singer is pregnant.

The artiste got married to her actor beau, Prince Eke a few years ago and relocated to Port Harcourt.

When Saturday Beats called the singer on the phone, she tried to be evasive but eventually admitted she was pregnant.

“Is there anything wrong with fulfilling the essence of my womanhood? It is a special feeling, I must tell you,” she said.

But even in her state, Muma said she was planning to perform on stage during her upcoming album launch.

“I would be performing with my baby in my womb. I may not be jumping up and down but I would be doing something milder and classier,” she said.

She has been off the entertainment scene for some time and Muma said it was because she had to research on the next step to take.

“I had to carry out some researches concerning my career. I wanted to do something that would wow everybody,” she said.

Her efforts eventually paid off as she is all set to launch her album, which she titled Motherland, in Port Harcourt.

“I featured Sammini, VIP and my producer Cobhams in the album. It is classier and a more contemporary style. I had to upgrade my style,” she said.

Muma insisted she didn’t run away to Port Harcourt because she couldn’t face the competition in Lagos.

“What I do is entirely different from what others do. There is no need for competition,” she said.

Tania And Wizkid Share Intimate Photos

The longtime lovers shared photos from inside their bedroom on their instagram pages.
The pics show Wizkid lying in bed while Tania’s well manicured nails covers his mouth in one pic and holds his hands in another.

Wizkid also shared a pic of what his bedroom looks like. Really nice.
