Hon. Friday Okoh is a grassroots politician with a cult followership like most populist South and Latin American politicians like Hugo Refeal Chavez, Daniel Otege, Ivo Morales and Lula Da Silva. He was intiated into the inner temple of politics as a service boy cum apprentice at the tender age under the tutelage of Late Hon Humprey Iwerebor A.K.A Ogidi of Africa Politics. It was during his apprenticeship that he learned the ropes .
He took his first shot some years ago and won a counsellor seat in his Boji Boji Ward 4 in Ika North East LGA of Delta State and at the age of 23 years he was the youngest Councillor in the whole of Delta State and Nigeria. He is presently a board Member Delta State Rural Development Area. He was also involved in managing and marketing almost all elected office holders in his Local Government and the zone.
The master of the game has officially declared his intention to run for Delta State House of Assembly DSHA under the ruling PDP. He is running on a single agenda which is providing : effective ,sensitive and God fearing representation to his constituents. The Hero we know is a man of honour who has never renage on commitment.
His doggedness stems from his understanding that power comes from the people( in a democracy). The buck now stops at the desk of Ika North East people - especially those with the task of electing who should be their flagbearer to compliment his courage by showing unprecedented support.
Hero our comrade,boss,and leader let not your heart be troubled, believe in God and yourself. Let me borrow from Liverpool supporters "you shall never walk alone" . Trust me, you aren't and will never be alone. Hero O Hero, onward to victory.
