EKELE EGBUCHUNEM FELICITATES WITH SENATOR DR. OKOWA ON HIS VICTORY AS THE PDP GOVERNORSHIP FLAG BEARER- IKA WEEKLY


A delegate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a member, Women Development Committee (WDC) Ekwuoma in Ika Northeast Local Government area of Delta State, Mrs. Ekele Egbuchunem has during an enlarged meeting held at her Ekwuoma residence, felicitated with Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on his victory at the recently conducted Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship primary election in Delta State.

Mrs. Egbuchunem noted that she is appreciating God on behalf of her fellow delegates, and the members of WDC and Out-Umunne group in general for their unity and co-operation towards Senator Okowa political ambitkion. She also appealed to all Deltans to vote for Senator Okowa regardless of their tribe and political affiliations. She used the priviledge to congratulate Hon. Barr. Victor Nwokolo, the member, House of Representatives, representing Ika Federal Constituency and Hon Tony Elekeokwuri, the PDP candidate of House of Assembly, Ika North East Constituency, on their victory at the primary election in the state.

In a related development, the president of Ekwuoma Development Forum (EDF), Sir Augustine Nwokolo, appreciated God for His support in the life of the distinguished Senator Ifeanyi Okowa. He promised that as the President of E.D.F, he will ensure that all Ekwuoma indigenes, will support Senator Dr. Okowa till he finally becomes the governor of Delta State.

Also speaking, a legal practitioner in Owerre-Olubor, Barr. Solomon Atube, described the victory of Senator Okowa as a marvelous work of God and as a result of Senator Okowa's political antecedents in the state. He enjoined all Deltans to start celebrating Senator Okowa's victory in 2015 stressing that God has already written it down and made provision for Senator to be the governor of Delta State in 2015.

Present at the occasion include, the immediate past Local Government Chairman of Ika North East, Hon Princess Ijenwa Okwunonke, Chief N.K Ngidi, the Ochudo of Nsukwa kingdom, Hon. Nwa-Nnemechiken, Hon Gabriel Okoh, Mr. Annex Omeife, Mrs. Joy and others.
