Read Heartbreaking Story Of Woman That Gave Birth To B’Haram Child
A woman that was kidnapped and raped by the Boko Haram insurgents in the interview granted to the CBS news narrated her heartbreaking story.
Aisha Musa, how she identified herself, has given birth, after the militants had killed her family and made her at gunpoint to become a ‘jihadi’ bride.
The Boko Haram victim disclosed how she had been living in the packed ‘Minawao’ refugee camp for seven months and survivd by selling corn meal at the local market.
She narrates: “They show you a gun, and then whatever they say you have to follow their command. He would lock me up during the day and rape me at night.
“He would go on operations and kill people, and then come home and force me to be with him.”
Aisha, reports disclosed, was freed by the Cameroon army, but the worst of her ordeal was finding out she was impregnated by her attacker.
“I am not enjoying that I have a baby from a Boko Haram man,” the woman cried out.
She stated that she never saw the said Chibok girls but said she often heard the militants speak of them.
Girls like Musa are regarded as spoiled goods – her baby a very public reminder of a cruel and unfair shame.
Like many of the other girls, the Chibok girls were reportedly made to marry the militants.
The Chibok girls were kidnapped from their school in April 2014 – some escaped but 219 are still missing despite the worldwide #BringBackOurGirls campaign.
President Muhammadu Buhari gave his army chiefs the three-month deadline to crush the deadly sect.
The president has today, December 24, declared that the insurgents have been almost defeated.
