Funmi Iyanda and Bisi Alimi re-unite at Polari First Book Prize 2013

Talk show host Funmi Iyanda attended the Polari First Book Prize Awards in London on Wednesday night with her dear friend, Bisi Alimi. Bisi is the openly gay Nigerian Funmi interviewed on her popular breakfast show, New Dawn, back in 2004 that got NTA to shut down her live shows.

Funmi showed support for the LGBT (Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transsexual) by attending the Polari awards which showcases the best in established, new and up-and-coming LGBT literary talent.
