Nigerian international midfielder Sunday Mba has sealed a one-year deal with French Ligeue 1 side CA Bastia on Thursday for €1.32m, The Punch has announced.
The 24-year-old who was earlier estimated for €1m saw his bid raised after he passed his medical with the Corsicans early this week.
With this contract, the former Worry Wolves star is henceforth ineligible for Nigeria’s maiden appearance at African Nations Championship (CHAN). The 2013 AFCON hero was decisive in helping Nigeria qualifier for the CHAN against Côte D’Ivoire.
