Kim and Kanye suing Youtube co-founder over engagement leak
Days after Kanye West staged his elaborate proposal to Kim K at San Francisco's AT&T Park in front of family and friends on her 33rd birthday, video footage of the event surfaced online. Kim & Kanye are now suing the person who leaked the video.
According to reports, Kim and Kanye have filed a copyright lawsuit against the co-founder of Youtube, Chad Hurley, claiming he crashed their party uninvited and taped and released footage of the proposal after signing an agreement promising not to after he was allowed to stay and witness the proposal. The are seeking unspecified damages. You can watch the engagement video:

Marketers ban Mercy Johnson for being too expensive
Yeah you read right, Nollwood marketers have banned actress Mercy Johnson Okojie for being too expensive. Doesn't make sense does it? If someone's fees is too high, the sensible thing to do would be to boycott them and use less expensive actresses. Leave her to those who can afford her na, abi?
Mercy Johnson is currently the highest paid actress in Nollywood. She charges between N1.8million to N2m to feature in a movie. The others, like Ini and Funke charge between N700k to N1.2million.
For this reason, the actress has been blacklisted by the Nollywood Movie Marketers Association. The ban will not take effect immediately as Mercy has already signed up to do quite a number of movies. She returned on Thursday from a movie location, and will be on the set of another movie from tomorrow, Sunday. She will be traveling out of Nigeria sometime this month and when she returns, will be on another movie set...so she's basically booked till the end of the year.
The idea now is not to ban her after all her current contracts end. So the ban won't take effect until at least January 2014. This is not the first time the movie marketers association will be placing a ban on actors. They did this a few years ago when quite a number of Nollywood actors including Genevieve Nnaji, Ramsey Noah, RMD, Emeka Ike, Jim Iyke and others were blacklisted.

Cristerna, dubbed The Vampire Lady, is covered head-to-toe in tattoos, had dental work so she appeares to have fangs and has even had titanium horns inserted into her head.
Although she grew up in a deeply religious family, having endured many years of domestic abuse, she says she has always been different.
The mother-of-four leads an active social life, often giving talks on domestic violence to women who have suffered the same ordeal as her. She also travels the world as a video jockey.
Her friends say local people used to call Maria possessed by the devil, or a drug addict, or just insane. Now, they "kiss her hands and almost worship her".
Maria Cristerna says, "I am expressing beauty through my art for the world to see. God lives inside of me, and I believe it is what I do daily for others and my actions that make me who I am, not how I look or my appearance.
"Yes, I like people to look at me but I am a product of my experiences and what I have seen around me since very young. I have always been different!
"We all have the power to change the world if that is what we choose to do. Even if it is just changing your own world or circumstances. We have the power within us all".
