CONSTRUCTION OF CHARLES STREET: PROPHET IGBODO COMMENDS STATE GOVERNMENT IKA WEEKLY

Prophet Joseph Igbodo, of Divine Faith Evangelical Mission, Proprietor of Job Orphanage Home and St. Stephen Trust Widows Home, all in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area, during a chat with newsmen at his residence along Charles Street on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, commended the State government on the road construction projects on Charles Street which was recently awarded by the state government.

The man of God stated that the positive development is a manifestation of God answering their prayers. In his words, “I want to appreciate God for our Governor, he is demonstrating that he is from Ika land, someone that is not partial, he is evenly sharing the dividends of democracy to the two council areas in Ika land, and we can see that several road construction projects are currently on- going in several areas across the state. Prophet Igbodo, who is one of the landlords of Charles Street called on the entire people of Ika nation to support the Governor in order to achieve set goals.

He noted that this is our great opportunity to rally round the State Governor to achieve higher heights.” Speaking further, Prophet Igbodo showered encomiums on the humble disposition of the state Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa and his amiable wife. While eulogizing the sterling qualities of the first family, the highly respected servant of God appreciated the first lady, Dame Edith Okowa who on Monday November 14, 2016, called together the entire Orphanage Homes in the State, to celebrate orphans day and give them succor.

Prophet Igbodo appreciated the efforts of the contractor whom he stated is working hard and doing well. He commended the co-operations of the landlords and landladies in the area, and thanked God for the life of the state Governor whose name he stated, will never be forgotten.
According to him, “the only thing I want the Governor to know is that we will soon name one of the Streets, Okowa Street, because we need to celebrate Okowa.”

He urged residents of the area to imbibe the culture of maintaining the gutters and the road after the completion of the construction work. He further enjoined them to use whatever they have in supporting the contractor not giving out money alone but by appreciating them and not embarrassing them.
