A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), chieftain in Delta State and
community leader, Col Godwin Eboma, retired has expressed optimism that
Ika South Local Government Area will benefit immensely from Senator
Ifeanyi Okowa's administration by the time he (Okowa) assumes office
come May 29, 2015.
Col Eboma, who was speaking during an enlarged meeting of Otu-Umunne/
Delta
Political Vanguard associations in Agbor during the week, said that
they are happy and thankful to the Almighty God for setting the local
government free from a particular cabal (name withheld), who according
to him (Eboma) was the reason why Ika South was dragging to develop for
the past ten years.
The one time transition committee
chairman of Ika South LGA while thanking the people of the local
government particularly Otu-Umunne/Delta
Political Vanguard members for casting their votes for Okowa during the
April 11 gubernatorial election, enjoined them to redouble their
support for him, assuring that when the governor-elect assumes the
number one seat in the state he is not going to fail his people.
